Finding A Home Amongst The Wolves

Due to me taking forever to update that last chapter I figured I'd give you a little Danny point of view. It's not gonna be as long and its gonna be from that night when her pride first got attacked.

"Let me go! Damnit! Let! Me! Go!!!"

His grip on me feels like iron, strong and stable, but I will get it off.

Tugging on his hand and using my claws its like his hand is branded onto my wrist.

"Joey! You better let me go right now! I have no patience to deal with this and I will hurt you. Let g-

He turns around and throws me over his shoulder, he puts his arm around my legs locking them in place so I can't kick him and places the other hand on my ass to keep me in place but that still leaves my hands free.

Using my fists I pound on his back but he's so fricking jacked that I can't tell if it hurts or not. A loud, resounding slap was heard and a second later I felt the stinging pain on my ass that made me pause in my punches.

"Did...did you just slap my ass?"

"I did. And I'll do it again if you don't start behaving."

"You. You can't just treat me like that!!"

"Like what exactly? A child that needs to be spanked? Mmm I think I will, especially if you're gonna act like one."

My retort died on my tongue as a door was opened and slammed shut. My feet hit the floor before I could realize it but when I did. Ohhh when I did, you can bet your sweet ass he was gonna get it.

"Joey! We have to go look for them! We can't just sit here and do nothing! I won't sit here and do nothing, I'll go out and search for them my damn self!"

As I was about to turn around and storm off I was swung around and slammed into a wall. A dent was formed on each side of my head as his palms came up to trap me in place and when I looked up it wasn't into a happy face.

"Now you listen here Daniella you are a part of this pack now and as part of this pack you will abide by the words of the Alpha just as well as anyone else. Our alpha told me to take you home and make sure you sleep. Now if I have to chain you to the bed in order for you to sleep then I fucking will! Willing or unwilling you are going to sleep."

I feel my eyes water and my lips tremble but I don't want him to see me cry so I close the small distance inbetween us, wrapping my arms around his waist and shoving my face in his chest.

"Mean."

I feel his arms come around me, locking me in place so I can't move away as his head rests on the top of mine.

"Yes I'm mean. I don't mind being mean when you're being ridiculous. Now let's go to bed, I'm tired and I know you are."

I don't let go but I know he's walking us both to his room and thinking about it now I realize how tired I really am.

Soon we're in his room getting changed out of the clothes that we rushed to put on hours before.

I go to climb into bed when I feel his arms wrap around me again, holding me in place as he moves my hair to the side and places kisses on my neck.

"I know you're worried but we can't do anything now. We're all tired and doing anything right now will do nothing but cause us to make mistakes and put not only their lives in danger but everyone's. Let's get as much sleep as we can before we spend all day searching for them."

Sniffling softly I nod my head and then crawl the rest of the way into bed, pulling him along with me.

I lay facing him, curled up into his chest, drawing warmth and comfort from him. His arms come around me again, pulling me closer and my head lays in the curve of his neck. Before closing my eyes I tilt my head a bit and kiss the underside of his jaw before returning it to the original position in his neck.

"Sorry Joey and good night."

Sleep pulls me in and the last thing I feel is him place a small kiss on my head as some words were spoken but I missed most of them so the only one I heard was you.
