Finding A Home Amongst The Wolves

I woke up completely wrapped around Blake and Rose making us seem like a twizzler.

Extracting myself from the two wolves beneath me snoring away I grab a pair of Blake's boxers and slide them on like shorts before walking down to the kitchen where I see Xena sitting up at the counter.

Upon my entry she looks up and let's loose a deathening scream that I've sadly gotten used to.

When she was done practically falling off her chair she runs over to me and wraps her much taller frame around my smaller one.

"I can't believe you're back Snow. I've missed you so so much!! It was so boring without you!"

Hugging her tighter to me I breath in her scent and rest against her for a bit.

"I missed you too Xena. I have so much to tell you."

She pulls back and looks into my eyes.

"Yes. Yes you do my little white haired friend."

Pulling me over to the stool she sits down and bounces in her seat as she waits for me to tell her everything.

"How bout I tell you while we make breakfast."

She gets up and walks to the fridge and starts pulling items out while I wash my hands in the sink.

"Sure. It'll give us time to talk and time to feed people. Win-win situation."

We decide on French toast, bacon, and eggs and while I get started on the bacon she starts cracking eggs into a bowl.

"So where should I start?"

"Where'd you go for one."

"Well it was my older brother Miles who just so happened to kidnap me to begin with, but he didn't know so its okay. Actually I think I would've been okay with it even if they did know. When I woke up I was in their pride. I met my family, found out that I'm the long lost White Princess and I found out what happened the day we got separated. Hmmm let's see... What else did we do. Oh! We did a ritual that connects my pride with my pack, isn't that awesome!"

"Very. ... So you finally found your family? That's good.... That's great."

Looking over I see that she's absentmindedly mixing the eggs and cinnamon. Smiling softly I walk over to her and hug her from behind.

"I found our family. Xena you have been there for me my whole life, encouraging me, helping me, and protecting me. I'm pretty sure the family I found would love to welcome you with open arms."

"So she's the famous Xena I've heard so much about?"

Startled me and Xena both turn around and meet eyes with Danny who leans against the door frame staring at Xena.

"Yes... Why?"

She doesn't say anything. She walks into the kitchen with her eyes trained solely on Xena and stops before her.

Xena, bless her heart, has no idea what to do and freezes in place. Entirely under the scrutiny of Danny.

Then like nothing happened Danny's face breaks out into a wide grin.

"I love her. We're gonna become best friends and do all sorts of things together. Say watcha guys doin?"

Xena clears her throat and looks to me for guidance.

"Yes, she's always like this and we're making breakfast. Wanna help?"

She rubs her chin with a faint smile on her lips.
