What the hell is going on?!

"How'd you get in here?"

Walking further into the room I took a glance towards the two laying in the hospital beds before turning my gaze back towards the lion.

"Shift and tell me who you are."

It turned its head lazily at me before ignoring my presence and going back to it's original position. Shadow and I didn't like that it did that, he showed me disrespect and as an Alpha I wasn't about to let a lion show such disregard for my title and authority.

Stomping closer to it I stop and stand right in front of it.

"Shift!"

This time it came out more like a garbled snarl and I'm surprised I was even able to get it out of my mouth like that. But it didn't seem like the cat cared at all. It didn't even seem like it even understood me either.

Now becoming very confused and wary I sniff the air. I smelt the scent of the various cleaning agents, the two distinct smells of the lion shifters behind me, and the more concentrated scent of lion in front of me.

Lion, that was it. Just a lion, no shifter, no nothing just a lion.

Realizing that this wasn't a fucking shifter and an actual lion I swear under my breath and slowly back away from it. I have no idea how the hell it got in, nor do I know why it's here but it is and I have no idea what to do at the moment.

Scratching the back of my neck I look at it from the corner of my eye. It hasn't moved, nor does it look like it will anytime soon.

What the hell am I gonna do with it? I can't just leave it out in the open!

'Shadow... what is this?'

'A lion.'

'No really, I thought it was a zebra! Fine smartass, what the hell do we do with it?'

'Lock it in a closet?'

...I'm done with him.

...

...that might actually be a good idea.

Walking over to the medical closet I open it, and then turning around I go back to where the lion is currently sitting before grabbing it by the back of the neck and trying to drag it into the closet.

So he can come out later... haha get it?

No? Fine.

But either way it didn't work, the damn thing bit me and went right back to where it originally was.

Throwing my hands up I decide to leave it alone for the moment. I see that those two aren't up and I got more important shit to do than dealing with a stubborn lion.

Going to the door I go to close it behind me when the lion catches my eye. He's staring at me, his head turned to the side and he's staring directly into my blue eyes.

Scrunching up my forehead in confusion I have no idea what he would be saying to me if he even tried to. Pointing my finger at him I glare back into his eyes.

"You stay here and guard them. Don't eat them or anyone else that comes in here. I mean it, your hide will make a pretty rug."

Turning away I shut the door softly, but firmly behind me before going back out to the living room where most of the pack was. Opening up my mind to everyone in the pack I order them to not, under any circumstances, go into the infirmary without at least one pack warrior with them.
