Blake's (POV)
~ Midnight~It's been a full hour since Snow fell asleep and normally I would be sleeping with her right now, but I just can't seem to get myself to close my eyes.
It seems like fear is keeping me awake.
Fear that when I wake up in the morning this will all be a dream.
A fantastic dream, but still a dream.
Sitting up in bed and staring at Snow has made me come to two conclusions:
1) We Were's really need to find a way to interact.
I mean come on if my mate was a lion then just imagine all those other mate less Were' that have mates elsewhere.
2) I'm kinda thankful that Snow has been on her own for this long. If she hadn't then I would be forever mate less.
I then remembered something very important.
'Shadow. How are we going to convince her to stay?'
'Physical persuasion.'
'... Wow. Considerate and patient.'
'Shut up'
Snow had a face shape that spoke of elegance and gentleness. Golden freckles dusting her cheeks and across her small nose. Pink lips shaped into a permanent pout that I could just kiss all day. Soft white hair that fell to her waist that enabled me to tug on and trail my hands through.
I see all these perfections and I also take note of all her imperfections too, which only makes her even more perfect to me if that made any sense at all.
She's so adorable and appeals to all my senses without even trying.
'She's gorgeous.'
'She is.'
I continue down past her face and focused in on her slender, long and bare neck quickly zeroing in on the spot that will bear my mark. It looks so delectable, I can't wait to taste and put my mark on her.
'Shadow she's unmarked, she doesn't smell like us. She's a clear target to all males until then.'
'..Pee on her'
'... I really wanna punch you. How stupid can you be?'
'What.. it's another form of marking territory.'
'Dumbass that's for land territory.'
'I don't see you coming up with something better.'
'No. Not really.'
'Then let the peeing commence.'
Moon Goddess... Why did you stick me with a dumb wolf?
'NO YOU DUMBASS! You really think Snow would like to be peed on?'
'Well why not, she's our mate.'
I swear he has no common sense.
'...Shadow, I'm going to go real slow with you okay? Snow is aware of a mate correct?'
'Yea..'
'Okay and she's aware that we are her mate right.'
'..Ya..'
'Now she knows those two things, but she doesn't understand the concept of having a mate. Get it?'
'What does that have to do with anything?'
... If I was sitting at a desk, my head would be slamming on it repeatedly right now.
'Do you really think that anyone would want a total stranger to pee on them, even if they claimed to be your mate?'
*sigh*
'I guess not.'
I give up on him...
'Whatever. We'll think of something later.'
I turn off my link with Shadow and snuggle close into Snow's neck, wrapping her small body close. I quickly find myself crashing into my own black oblivion feeling completely drained and empty.
God this chapter sucks. Writing in his POV is so hard. I had this whole chapter written out in my head and it was darn good if I do say so myself.
So why is that when I went to write it down here the only thing I could remember was whose pov and the title I wanted? Does this happen to anyone else or naw?
