^Daniella^

~Snow~

When I woke up I expected to be in Blake's room like usual. What I didn't expect was to wake up in a different room. Thinking back on the past events and realizing that I was indeed kidnapped I was surprised to find myself in a room instead of a cell. I then thought about whether or not they were the same people that had Xena.

The door opens and closes and a girl walks in as I pretend, and fail, to be sleeping.

"I know you're awake. I can hear your heart beat you know."

I sit up, pushing the covers off of me in the process and regard her with a questioning gaze.

"Who are you and where am I?"

"Possibly your niece and you, my dear aunt, are in the Ard Ri Pride."

Huh, what? I don't have a niece, or at least, I shouldn't...

"I'm sorry I can't be your aunt. I don't have a family and why would I be in a pride?"

With a laugh she launches herself onto the bed next to me and rolls over to face me.

"That's where you're wrong and it's also the reason why you're in the Pride lands. I should probably let the King explain though."

"DANIELLA DELACROIX GET DOWN HERE NOW!"

"Uh-oh"

The girl, Daniella apparently, turned to me with mischievous eyes and a bright smile.

"That would be the King now. Gotta go."

Before I could get another word out she had fled the room in a swirl of color and laughter.

Well that was certainly entertaining.

"Daniella's always been that way."

I didn't expect to hear a voice of any sort and the sheer suddenness surprised me into letting out a short scream. In front of me, standing against the door was a boy that couldn't be any older than eighteen.

"Damn, don't scare me like that."

"Not my fault you were spacing out auntie."

What? Why do people keep calling me aunt? Don't their parents teach them their family tree?

"No one told you I see. Come on the King wants to see you."

What is he talking about? Tell me what?

He leaves before I even get a chance to follow him, causing me to have to run to catch up with him. We walk by various people and my immediate thought is that they're all immensely taller than me.

The boy leads me past rooms, down halls, down stairs, and cool looking pillars until we stop at a large cherry wood door. With his hand on the knob he turns to me, giving me a grin.

"Well this is gonna be fun."

Without warning hr pushes the door open and the first thing I notice is the amount of people behind the door, let's just say that even if I had the time I wouldn't be able to count them all.

The boy grabs my hand and pulls me forward. The crowd parts around me like the Red Sea, people openly stare and I can hear them whispering about me. If he wasn't holding my hand I would've run already, but he is, so I can't.

"What's your name?"

He turns to meet my gaze with a questioning one

"Well I just realized that I didn't know your name so I thought I'd ask."
