Finding A Home Amongst The Wolves

Snow's (POV)

I am currently in a meadow full of beautiful flowers of all types surrounded by woods.The sun is out and creating the perfect atmosphere to just lay down and be as lazy and comfortable as I wanna be at this time. Now if only Mr.Alpha will come so I can see if Crystal and I can stay or is this just a temporary stop.

"Hey Crystal, when do you think the alpha is going to finally grace us with his presence?"

"Snow... I have no idea. I mean the Beta came 3 days ago maybe he's farther away from the pack than we thought he was."

"Ugh well he needs to hurry the hell up. Not knowing if we can stay in this heavenly place is killing me. I'm really really getting attached to this place."

"I know Snow, me too. Remember what the Beta said three days ago when he FINALLY found us?"

"How can I forget."

~Flashback~

We were in human form sitting on a tree branch when we heard a sound on the ground below us.

"Well Mr. Beta and other wolves, you finally found us, and I thought we were doing such a good job playing hide and seek. Well we can't always win now can we?"

The wolves on the ground shift into their human forms and put on basketball shorts, but for that 30 seconds before hand I saw a wonderfully disturbing sight of 5 naked men. The men all start to look around trying to find the direction of my wonderful voice. 

So being the nice person I am I decided to give them a wonderful hint... which happened to be "look up."

All 5 snapped their heads up at the same time, but alas only the Beta said something.

"Get down here rogue!"

"Touchy touchy wolf. No please or thank you? Didn't your mama teach you better than that?"

"Just shut up and get down here."

"Well fine then. I'll be the nice one in this conversation."

I then stood up on my branch, that was mighty comfy if I do say so myself, and jump down landing perfectly on my feet like a good cat should.

"So.... what shall I owe this pleasurable meeting too?"

"What are you doing here rogue? Do you know what pack territory you're on?"

"Well well look at Mr. Beta, ripping off bandages left and right, getting straight to the point. Well Mr.Beta I am traveling if you will and to answer your other question no I don't know what pack this is.... which is it?"

"This is the Red Moon pack and will you stop calling me 'Mr.Beta,' I have a name and it's Xavier. Why are you traveling and where are you going rogue?"

"Well Xavier my name is Snow, I am traveling nowhere and everywhere. I am looking for a place to call home."

"... Why wouldn't you just go back to where you came from? What are you exactly? You don't smell like a wolf and yet you know about us, why is that?"

"If I knew where I came from I would go back, but I don't so that's not an option. What I am is no threat or concern to you and how I know about wolves is because every time I go into a new area it just so happens to be another pack. With every new pack I end up being chased off or I am allowed to stay, but I find nothing that screams HOME. Quite sad if you ask me.. Oh by the way may I speak with your alpha about staying here for a bit? Not in the pack house, but on the outskirts in a little cave I found."

"Why would I let you see the alpha when you won't tell me what you are? For all I know you could be plotting something  or working with other rogues in order to attack the pack, so tell me, Snow, why should I let you?"

"I won't tell you what I am till people get to know me before they judge me based on what I happen to be. Why would I want to plot against you when I could join you? If I wanted to live in a pack I could easily ask to join one. What I want is a home and if joining a pack is what makes me feel at home then that's exactly what I shall do."

Xavier and the other wolves are standing around quietly with glossy eyes most likely mind linking each other on the decision.

 Snow on the other hand is looking around hoping that they will let her meet the alpha because she's feeling something different about this place.

"Snow...... Snow!"

            "WHAT?"

"In three days one of us will come get you to meet the alpha and he will decide your fate. In the mean time you will have someone come check up on you everyday till then, and you are not to leave the territory until you have met the alpha. Am I clear?"

"Crystal clear, Mr. Xavier sir!" 

Xavier cocks an eyebrow and tries not to smile at this little thing that shows no fear regardless of being surrounded by 5 wolves that out her in height, weight and numbers..

"Snow, these idiots behind me are; Dale, Joey, Chris and Kale. They will be responsible for checking in on you from time to time from today and the next 3 days. You Snow will tell them anything you think is important and they will relay it back to me. If you need anything tell one of them and I will get it back to you with the next shift alright? ..Well Snow... till the next time we meet."

~End flashback~

*snap* *sniffle* MAMA!! *sniffle* 

At that I lift my head, flicking my ears around trying to listen for that sound. After awhile I hear nothing so I lay back down.. Then all of a sudden.. I hear it again.

*sniffle* mama *sniffle*

End of Chapter 1. How'd you guys find it? I'm not the artistic type at all so even writing this was a challenge and depending on how this story ends it might be my one and only piece. I don't mind people writing comments, but I will delete comments I find stupid just to let you know.
