Jem's POV

Dylan and I rushed into the hospital which was buzzling like a beehive. "Lorenzo Giordano. He was taken here by the ambulance." Dylan said to the receptionist, a woman in her 40s probably. "One second." She replied as she typed in the computer. "He is in surgery. He was accompanied by Julian Giordano. 2nd floor." She said looking at us. "Thank you." Dylan said and we both walked to the elevator.

"What did Jase and Joy say." He asked. "They panicked, but they are glad the mom was found, and Jess and Grace are safe." I said, thinking back to the conversation. "Jazz is there." I added after a pause which made him visibly pale. "Oh." He said nodding.

"They wanted to come here, but I denied. I think we all can go back to America in a day or two." I said. "Are sure we all can go." He asked doubtfully. "Yes." I replied and doors open. We turned right as the board instructed and made our way to the lobby, hoping to find Jule.

"Can we just call him." Dylan said as our eyes searched everywhere. "Right" I said taking my phone. "You're aging fast mate. Rose will be disappointed." He said, his eyes shining lightly in humor. "What did you do." He asked observing my face. "I might have not told her about all this." I answered. "About Enzo or- "He asked with a pointed look. "About the war." I answered and clicked on Jule's name in my contacts.

"James." Dylan said aghast. "I thought you told her everything in the plane." I said coming in front of me. "Well, I didn't." I answered and just then Jule's voice echoed in my ears.

"Where are you." I asked silencing Dylan. "Come near the operation room." He replied, his voice drained and horse. "Okay." I replied and hung up. "He is near the operation room." I said to Dylan and walked to the directions board. "Straight and left." I informed and walked ahead of him.

"Oh, don't run like that James." He said coming beside me. "Does it look like I'm running." I asked the obvious. "Mentally yes." He replied with a stern look. "So, when are you planning to tell her." He asked after a pause. "I'm not planning to tell her anytime soon." I replied and turned left. "You are such an idiot." He said shaking his head. "I know." I replied hastily and the big brown doors of the surgery room came into my view. The aura around us changed from bash to tense. Jule was sitting in on of those metal chairs, the blue trench coat was his only warmth. His head was in his hand, which were as white as the walls. The brown mass on his head was like a curtain to his face.

Sharing a look with Dylan, we both walked towards him. "Hey." I said softly taking a place next to him and Dylan did the same on the other side. He lifted his head and met his eyes with mine and gave a firm nod. "They haven't told anything." He answered my unanswered question.

"How are you feeling." Dylan asked Jule, rubbing his shoulder. "Drained." He replied shortly. My phone rang breaking the strained silence. "It's Sal." I answered the boys questioning gazes. "Yes." I answered. "Where are you on the second floor." He asked. "Near the operating room." I answered. "Okay, I'll be there in a few." He said and hung up.

"How long has he been there." I asked. "Lost track of time." Jule said lost in his thoughts. "Did they tell you how long he is going to be there." I asked again and he shook his head no. Long seconds past ideally, my mind was going wild. "How is he." Sal asked rushing towards us. His hair was knotted, and his eyes were bloodshot. "We don't know." Dylan answered shortly.

"How are Jess and Grace." Dylan asked. "They are fine. The meds started to kick in, so they are asleep." He said and dropped himself beside me letting out a long breath. "Do you know mom's condition." He asked. "Wait, mom is here." Jule asked. "Yes, and she is in a critical condition, I think." Sal replied. "What do you mean you think." Jule asked again. "Matt wasn't very clear, but he said she will be fine." Sal said.
