Jess's POV
Gunshot echoed through the empty lane, only the music of the wind played. The lifeless body of the dear child laid on the empty road. I stared at the crimson liquid which was flowing from the boy's head. I cried, screamed but nothing could reverse time. The fresh wound on my hand was throbbing, but I couldn't care any less, the fact that an innocent child died in cold blood because of me was slowly killing me.
Suddenly the boy stood up, the bullet hole on his forehead sent chills down my spine. "You" He said pointing at me. "you killed me." He said his eyes lifeless. "Why did you kill me." He asked in a soft painful voice. "Why did you kill a innocent child." He asked in a painful voice.
My heart ached like hell, what kind of person am I. "I sorry." I whispered between sobs. "Is sorry going to bring me alive." He asked. "I'm so sorry, I don't even know what's happening." I screamed pulling my hair.
"You killed me." His voice echoed loudly as the ocean of guilt started pulling me. "I'm sorry." "I'm so so sorry." I whispered crying. "Jessica." My mom's voice said. A pale version of my mom suddenly stood beside the boy. Her lifeless face haunted me to the core.
"You killed a innocent child." Her voice was filled with venom. "You are not my daughter." She yelled harshly. "Mom I didn't mean." I sobbed. "Don't give me those pitiful excuses." She said angrily. "You are a monster." She said snarled.
Out of no where, scaly black devilish hand caught hold of my wrists and stared pulling. "You deserve to die." Both my mom ad the boy spat. "I'm sorry." I cried trying to free me. "Please, I'm sorry." I cried as I was being pulled in a black abyss.
"Jess." A soft voice called. "I'm sorry." I kept on repeating knowing that this wasn't my fault.
"Bambina, wake up." A smoothening yet stern voice said. All I saw was black space and the lifeless bodies of my mom and the child.
"Jess, it's Jazz, you're alright." Jazz what is she doing here. "Jessica wake up this incident." A strong voice said and the black space suddenly disappeared. Sense finally reached me and my eyes shot open.
"It was a dream." I whispered to myself as I sat up straight. My gaze was fixed on my palm which were awfully pale. "What was that." Enzo shouted, anger lacing his tone. I lifted my view and saw all of siblings crowed in my room.
Jule, Jazz and Jase were sitting on my bed, Jem standing directly across me while the others were crowded near him, "Answer my question." Enzo yelled clearly getting annoyed.
"A nightmare." I said hesitantly. "I'm sorry for waking you all up." I said cursing myself for being a burden. "Why were you saying sorry, who were you apologizing to." Joy questioned, her voice was soft yet in a tone a person will dare to disobey.
"I - I don't know." I said. "Like I mentioned, it was a nightmare." I said looking at into her eyes, which bought my some comfort. "Jess we all had nightmares, they aren't like what you had." Jule said placing his hand on mine and rubbing smoothening circles. "Are all your nightmares like this." He asked but I simply ignored.
"Was it the one with wolves, the one you told me about." Jase asked.
"Are you hiding something from us Jess." Sal questioned, his tone differing from his usual cheery voice.
"Why are you lying to us Jess." Joy asked coming forward. My breathing increased and panic filled my body.
"Why is she not answering us." Enzo punched the wall in anger. My vision blurred and the voices got muffled.
"All of you shut the hell up, she is having a panic attack." Jem's strong voice made it's way in my mind. "Jess, listen to my pulse." Jazz's soft voice said. I felt my palm being lifted and placed on a smooth surface. The strong beating sound ran through my veins, echoing in my mind.
