Jessica's POV.
A cold breeze blew past me but surprisingly I felt warm and secure. The place I rested was the only place I felt safe. It's warmth radiated through my entire body making my bones relax. As I laid there resting peacefully, listening to the music of the wind and birds, "BANG".
My eyes flew open and searched the surroundings for the source of the noise. "Are you out of your freaking mind, Jason." Joy's loud and angry voice drew my attention. That's when I realized that I had slept on Joy's lap under the tree, and from the state Joy was, it looked like she had slept too. My eyes traveled to my annoying brother who stood there with his award winning irritating smirk.
I turned to Joy and she had a look which could kill any sane person. "What do you want, Jase." I asked in a irritated tone and stood up. "It's five o' clock, sleepy head. We are going out for dinner, Jem told to wake you up." He said. I continued rubbing my eyes with the back of hand to remove the sleep from it. "There is a way to wake up a person, you idiot, haven't you learnt that." Joy said standing up, she was clearly furious, why am I surprised she is Jase's twin.
"Okay okay I'm sorry, calm down." He said letting his hands in surrender and went over to hug. He whispered something in her years and Joy rolled her eyes and w rapped her hands around her brother and smiled lightly. "What do you want, a chocolate." Jase questioned me as he pulled away. "Shut up." I said and walked towards the mansion with my sketching kit. A hug could have calmed down Joy but definitely not me, why is my brother such an idiot.
I marched towards the living room carrying an angry expression and saw my older siblings sitting there laughing, even Jem had a tight smile in his face. Jazz was sitting in the sofa with wearing a blue jeans shorts and a loose baseball shirt, her silky brown hair was tied in a messy bun. Jule sat on the other sofa with one leg up wearing blue polo shirt and khaki trousers. Jem sat on the armchair with a relaxed expression wearing a light blue shirt and black pants.
Turning a deaf year to their calls, I marched up to my room. Slamming the door shut, I jump into my bed and wrapped myself in a cocoon of blankets. I hate people coming and disturbing my sleep and what Jason did was unacceptable. Honestly it is so annoying to be woken up unwillingly. I have been controlling my anger ever since I came here just because of my gratitude to Jem, and it is not that easy to keep it under control. My whole life was a lie and even now everyone is keeping secret from me, life is so unfair.
A harsh knock bothered me again, why can't people leave me alone. "Go away." I muffled loudly in my pillow. Within a second all of my siblings barged in to my room. "Didn't you hear what I said." I asked in angry irritated voice. "What's the problem Jess, why are so upset and angry." Jazz asked, taking a seat at the end of my bed. "I said I'm sorry, how moody can girls can be." Jase's annoying voice said. This really triggered the bull in me, he is so damn annoying.
I flung out my bed and marched towards Jason, who was leaning against the wall. "First of all, you did not say sorry and secondly do you know how annoying it is to be woken like that. Honestly don't you have any common sense, you know what, I gonna throw ice cold water on a winter morning so you know how it feels to be woken up in a unceremonious manner." I yelled pointing my finger at him, wow it feels good to take out your anger.
All of them were standing there with there mouths open, Jase looked at me like I had grown three heads. "Okay...calm down tiger. God you need to learn how to control your temper ." He said bewildered voice, raising his hand in surrender. "Oh you shouldn't be the one to tell me to control my anger. Do that yourself and I'll follow." I said with my hands on my hip.
"Okay I'm sorry, I won't to it again, promise. And I hope you weren't serious about the treat." He said, his hands still raised, his voice was like a child and I think he mustered the best puppy face. "Aww...you look so cute." I said in awe as I pulled his cheeks, how can I not forgive a person with such a face. Everyone else was throwing their heads back and laughing, even a small laughter escaped Jem.
