James's POV

The view in front of me was calming, unlike the situation. Sitting in the seat of my private plane with Dylan, Jule and Sal, I looked outside the window as the sun peeked from the Horizon, blessing the earth with it's golden rays. The clouds below me turned in the shades of orange and pink, never failing to mesmerize me. It's been a long time since I noticed and admired all this, usually I used to utilize this time to do my paper work. But now I wanted, no, needed to find some amount of peace.

Everything was going according to plan. Firstly, we drained every single penny in the Russian Banks, leaving then bankrupt. All their properties were transferred in our name, leaving them no where to go. The main advantage is that we are taking them by surprise, Nikolai wouldn't have suspected we would attack so soon.

To be honest the video wasn't as traumatizing as I thought it would be, it was petrifying but I have seen worse, but I'm more than glad that what Jess endured is something she could tolerate.  But the fire inside went wild as the recoding play, but pride overtook my anger, Jess is a born leader, she has this fire and aura inside her which will make you want to bow your head.

But there is this sting in my heart, which still hasn't gone. Enzo standing there not even flinching  when his little sister was beaten. My chest tightened when I saw the little boy who vowed to god that he would give his life for his family change into a man with absolutely no emotion. "James I want to talk to you." Jule's voice said softly as he took a seat beside me. "I need to use the washroom." Dylan said as he stood and walked away.

Sal who had been quiet all this while, lifted his gaze from his phone, his gaze firmly on us. "Is there any fault in the plan." I asked. "Don't hide how you feel James." He said firmly causing me to exhale a long breath. "We need to tell Jazz." He said. "And Rose." Sal added, speaking for the first time. "What do you want me to tell them." I shot back. "That my sister was kidnapped by the Russian Mafia for like two weeks and that my brother is actually the person who kidnapped her." I whispered yelled, running a hair through my hair.

"James, we might not make it back, I want to speak to my sister." Sal said, his voice laced with thick emotions. "And maybe we don't have to tell her about all this. We could just have a normal conversation, we don't need to freak her out." Jule added, his bright blue orbs begging to do the same. "Okay." I said pulling out my mobile.

Third person POV

James took out his sleek black iPhone 12 and went to his contacts, clicking on Jazz's name. The atmosphere in the plane was tensed as the ringing sound from the phone echoed around the surface, thanks to higher technology update.

In the snowy peaks of Canada, a women who was taking a stroll in a nearby park, adoring the little children's laughter,  was shocked to find a her phone ringing with a particular caller id. Brushing the loose brown strands off her face, she settled down on the wooden bench nearby and accepted the call.

"Jem, is everything all right." She rushed. "Yes Jazz everything is alright." James replied, flinching at the bitter feeling in his chest as he lied to his twin, something he has never done in his life. Of course they were some white lies between them, but he never hid something this important from her.

"Why do you ask." He asked after a moment. "Well considering the fact that you called after a month." The bitter words rolled out her tongue without her permission. "Sorry, I just I have a nagging feeling for the past few days, you know a gut feeling." Jasmine added expressing  how she felt to her twin.

"Are you sure everything is alright, I haven't talked to Jess recently." She added since she didn't get a reply from the other side. The wind howled making her lose brown hair dance with it. "She is alright, I think she is busy with school." Jem reassured, eyeing Jule and Sal who nodded in confirmation.
