"Check that connection, it's not-" I inspect
the wires a second time, before actually switching on the line.

Trevor tightens the connection, and I switch it on. The table lights up with a flick, and he hits my shoulder lightly, in appreciation.

I chuckle proudly, and honestly awed before switching it off. This would be phenomenal when completed.

"We've got to start with the transitions, Hardin."

I collect the extra wires into a roll, eyeing the points of all the connections one last time.

"We've got time."

"Rehearsals start after semester exams, did you forget?"

I pause with a jerk, closing my eyes in agony. I did forget. Fuck.

"I've got Preston. Preston." I say in an annoyed, already tired grumble, and he chuckles happily.

"Maybe you can trade up with Brit?" He suggests and I shake my head.

"Brandon won- wait, Brit is in again?" I ask him perplexed.

"Yeah, the name was on the list."

Damn, this girl. I just wanted to buy some time, now she's got herself in again. I can literally smell Liliana Preston written all over it in bold.

"Fuck, I'll have to talk to Red-ston." I wrap up the many things sprawled all over the place, before I go.

"Do you really have to be such a pain, Hardin. Let her wear whatever she wants." Trevor argues in an incredulous tone, and I scrunch my eyebrows together.

"How do you know about this?" I ask him, and he looks down momentarily.

"She told me."

"She told you. What did she say?"

"That you were being a judgemental, unreasonable prick."

He snaps irritatedly and I narrow my eyes in speculation.
