"I know I know." I rub my face. "Why am I at your house?" I ask.

I love my job.
Not only do I get to do what I love but I can do it whenever I want. Plus, no dress code.
I officially opened my own business 8 months ago. Before I would rent out studios for a day and cram everything into one day.
Now I have my studio now.
I strictly do athlete endorsements, or really anything related to athletes. I have no idea why I'm so fascinated with athletes but I am. Occasionally I'll do Rebecca a favor and photograph models wearing her pieces but I don't do it often.
I woke up at 8:00 this morning since I have a meeting with the manager at the staples center today at 9:30.
I get up from my queen-sized bed and head to my bathroom. Rebecca and I each have our bathrooms but hers is also the guest bathroom. As I predicted last night, she didn't come home.

My day has started off on the right foot.
I strip off my pajamas and step into my shower. It's marble practically all over my bathroom. Thankfully I also have a tub for whenever I need to relieve some stress.
I shower quickly and wrap a towel around me as soon as I step out. I head over to the sink where all my makeup is.
I don't usually wear a lot of makeup unless I have an important event or something. Today isn't that important but I'm possibly signing a contract so I should put at least someeffort into my appearance.
I apply some concealer to cover the dark circles, I also pencil in my eyebrows and apply some mascara.
Good to go.
I dry my hair with my hairdryer. My hair is semi-wavy. It's not straight but it's not curly, I used to hate it but now it makes my life so much easier. I apply some gel that Rebecca got me, it makes any curls you have stand out.
A literal freaking lifesaver.
I walk into my room and put on underwear and a bra.
I don't know how many times I've thought about never wearing a bra again. They're so uncomfortable.
One perk of being your boss is there's no dress code, but I still try to dress semi-professional. With some mom jeans, a white top, and a flannel I'm good to go.
