The bubbles indicating he's typing disappear. I'm about to send another text but there's a knock at my door.
I'm so comfy though. I'm in shorts and a sports bra so I should probably cover-up in case it's a murderer.
I really don't want to get up.
Ugh.
I throw off the blanket and grab a sweater nearby.
"Oh, It's you." I leave the door open for Roman to walk through, and lie back down on my couch. I take off the sweater and throw it across the room. "Why are you here again?" That came out a little too bitchy. He was here yesterday with Aria until midnight. At this point, he should just move in.
"Nice to see you too sweetheart." He plants a kiss on my forehead and kneels to kiss my stomach, something he does every time.
I notice he has two grocery bags in my hands.
"Where's my favorite human?" I ask.
"Jaden wanted her for a day. Said he wants to practice his father skills."
"Should I be practicing too?" I have no experience with children. I like kids but they can be frustrating at times.
"You'll be a natural, plus I've done this once or twice so I'll be perfect."
"Cocky much?"
"You would know."
