Anni POV

*1 year later*

The boys did eventually go into the studio to record that first Ep, and let me tell you, it was a hectic few hours. The songs they recorded were done in less than three takes each, and it was done. And you know what?

It was a complete hit. They had fucking done it- they had successfully released their first studio-recorded EP and it hit the top of the charts in Australia, New Zealand and Norway. We partied long and hard into the night that we found out about that.

That was also the first night that Calum and I went all the way.

It was Cal's first time, and only my second- so both of us, it was still fairly awkward. But I couldn't have imagined it any better than how it was.

The awkward fumbles, the panted breaths, the hushed 'I love you's' and reassurances, and the addictive feeling of each other's bodies pressing together in the most intimate way. Even now, months down the track, I still think of that night and how simple everything was.

It wasn't long after that, that the boys had a spectacular breakthrough. Louis Tomlinson of One Direction tweeted the 'Gotta Get Out'  video, saying that he had been a fan for a while. This sparked the boys popularity instantly, and suddenly they were gaining momentum. They released their first single 'Out of My Limit' and caught One Direction's eye again, but this time with Niall tweeting about them.

And then they moved. They just picked up and left Megan, Aimee, Grace and I to move to London. We understood why, of course. They were aspiring music artists and had an opportunity to work with bands and people that they looked up to.

But that didn't make it any easier on us. Calum and Michael dropped out of school, just like in the songs, and focused on the band. Luke decided to continue, but I think that was just because Liz made him.

The fan base grew as well. I wasn't surprised by how much attention the boys got- they were attractive teenage boys after all. Who could blame them? I think the fans made the decision to move to London a lot easier for the boys- if they had fans who wanted more music, who were they do deny them?

But not everything was always smooth sailing.

Calum and I try to talk as often as we can, but it's getting harder and harder to find the time. School is getting harder, with my final exams coming up within the next half a year and Calum constantly song-writing and recording it's near impossible.

But we are managing, and that is the main thing- we'll get through this because that's just what we do. We fight for what we love, and I knew for sure that he loved me just as I loved him.

Guys this is simply part one of the epilogue, there is still a lot more to come!!
