18. Saturday Morning pt 2

Madison's Pov:

I woke up again with Delaney's head in the crook of my neck and one of her legs over top of mine. I look over at the alarm clock on Delaney's nightstand and saw that it was 9:45. I got out of bed without waking Delaney up and grabbed my coffee and Delaney's red bull and brought them downstairs to put them in the fridge.

Just as I was about to sit on the couch I got a phone call from James. Obviously I answered. "Yo James. What's up?" *You will never guess what happened after school on Friday.* "What happened?" I asked a little concerned. *Matt asked me to be their boyfriend.* "No fooking way. (sorry i had to add a one direction in there) Did you say yes?" *No I said no. Obviously I said yes shit head. Why would I say no.* "I wasn't sure." *Oh and also there is a party today if you and your girlfriend wanna come.* "She's not my girlfriend." *Yet.* "Whatever I'll ask her when she wakes up." *Wait so you're with her right now.* "Yeah I slept over last night. She would've been home all alone if I didn't." *Ok I see you McDaniel.* "What time is the party?" I asked ignoring his comment. *Uhh it starts at 9 so you got a solid 12 hours with Delaney.* "And where is it?" *It's at Matt's neighbor's house. You know where Matt lives right.* "Yeah I just always know where my best friend's boyfriend lives." *Ok sassy the address is 6969 simp street (ifykyk) Ok don't forget to ask Delaney .* "I won't." *Bye shithead* "Bye asshat."

Delaney's Pov:

I woke up in my bed. I remembered Madison carrying me upstairs and setting me down on my bed and then pulling a blanket over me. I also remember pulling her down so she could be next to me. I got up and started to walk downstairs when I heard Madison saying something, "She's not my girlfriend." 'Well not yet,' I thought to myself. I didn't want to interrupt her call so I just waited for a few minutes on the stairs. I heard her say bye and I continued to make my way downstairs. I wasn't really paying attention to anything except my feet moving across the hard wood floor. I accidentally walked into the back of Madison. "S-sorry," I said a little startled. "You're good Ber," she said with a soft smile. "There's a red- bull in the fridge for you." "Ok thank you."

We were sitting at the table scrolling on our phones when Madison asked, "Are you doing anything today?" " No. Why?" "Well my friend James, his boyfriend's neighbor is having a party and they invited us. Would you wanna go?" "Sure." " Ok great. I'll call James and tell him that we're coming." "Ok," I said with a huge smile on my face. I haven't been to party since freshman year. Collin never wanted me to go to parties but yet he could go to parties all the time. Fuck Collin. Today is about me and kinda Madison, but mostly me.

Madison's Pov:

I walked into the other room and called James. *Yo shithead what did she say?* "She said yes." *Ok great. But what happens if a guy tries to get in her pants* "I have that under control." *And how is that hot shot.* "First off I have years of built up anger, which you already know about, and I'm not afraid to beat a bitch." *Ok, now I know who to call if Matt cheats on me.* "Come on, you know he wouldn't do that." *Justin Bieber said, 'Never say never'* "This should be a time when you say never." *Sorry can't, I'm a belieber* "What ever you say James, what ever you say." *Hey, you have one direction and Niall Horan I have Justin Bieber.* "Do not bring not bring the boys into this." *I'm just saying.* "Whatever. I gotta go." *Ok tell your girlfriend I say 'Hi'.* "How many times do I have to say that she is not my girlfriend." *Well not yet at least.* "Bye asshat." *Bye shithead.*

I walked back into the kitchen and didn't see Delaney. I turned around and saw the beautiful, blonde hair, blue eyes girl standing in front of me. "Why did you turn around I was gonna scare you," she said sad. "Sorry," I said with my arms open for an apology hug. She quickly wrapped her arms around my waist and laid her head on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and she pulled me closer to her. I smiled to myself. I looked down and saw her smiling as well she looked up at me. She looked straight into my eyes and smiled even bigger. I kept eye contact with her but she quickly broke it to look at my lips and I did the same. We were so close to touching that I could feel her breath on my lips but then her phone started ringing. We let go quickly and she grabbed her phone. I walked out of the room because I didn't want to intrude on a conversation.

Delaney's Pov:

I looked at my phone and say Lana's name. I answered it. "What do you want?" *Well I can tell that you aren't to happy to talk to me.* "It's not that it's just that you interrupted something." *What is it?* I can't tell her it's about Madison because she doesn't know what has been happening over the past few days. "Nothing. It wasn't that important anyways." *Sorry. Anyways there is a party I was wondering if you wanted to come* "Ok. Where is it?" *Uhh Matt's neighbor's house* "I'm already going tonight." *Wait really?* "Yeah. Madison invited me there. Supposedly it's her friend James, boyfriend's neighbor" *Wait. Him and Matt are together now. I am so happy for them.* "You know James." *Yeah we have science together with Matt. James has been crushing over Matt since the first day of school* "Oh I didn't know that anyways see you there" *Kk. Bye* "Bye."
