10. Sunset and Memories

Madison's Pov:

Delaney seems pissed. I wonder why. I looked at the time and saw that the sun was about to set. I know just the thing to make her happy though. We got in the car and I started to drive to the mountain. "This isn't the way to my house," Delaney said. "I know," I said plainly not giving her any hint where we were going. We finally made it to the mountain. She noticed where we were. I got out of the car and started to walk. She got out as well. "You coming?" I asked. "Yeah." She started to run. "Come with me I wanna show you something." I held out my hand and she took it. We walked through some trees and bushes and made it to my favorite place to watch the sunrise and sunset. We walked out on to a cliff. You could see the whole town from here. "Wow," was all Delaney good get out. "It's so beautiful," Delaney finally says. 'Well not as beautiful as you,' I thought to myself. "Yeah it is. Come on sit down." I sat down on the edge of the cliff with my feet hanging off the edge.

Delaney's Pov:

This is giving me flashbacks. I don't want it to happen again. Once Madison sat down it all started to come back. I tried to push the dream away. To help push it away I took out my phone and started to play my Novo Amor playlist. Callow started to play. Novo Amor always calms me down when I need it. I usually listen to him when I am doing school work or reading. This song reminds me of one of the most recent books I read, They Both Die At the End  by Adam Silvera. (If you haven't read the book I recommend it. I cried so many times while reading it. Anyways back to the story.) The book is so sad yet such a good book. I decided to sit next to Madison. I was a little hesitant to get close to the edge but I finally did. 

The sun looked so beautiful. 'Not as beautiful as the girl next to me though,' I thought to myself. I leaned my head on Madison's shoulder. I could feel her body tense when I first put my head on her shoulder but it started relax quickly. There was a little breeze and I got cold. I shivered a little and I think Madison noticed. She looked down and me and asked, "Why didn't you bring a hoodie Ber?" That's when I remembered what happened this morning. I couldn't lie to her again so I told her the whole story of what happened. "You could of told me what happened I would've gladly skipped the whole day with you." "I can't let you do that you're to much of a goody-two-shoes." "No I am not." "Ok really. When was the last time you skipped a day or even a class?" She just sat there with a blank stare. "Exactly you haven't." "My mom would've killed me if I did that." "Well you better hope she doesn't find out about today." "Fuck you."  'I wish you would,' I thought to myself. "Come with me. I think I got extra hoodies in my car." I followed her to her car. She opened the back door and handed me a black hoodie. "Look it even matches," she says with a proud smile on her face. I put it on and it was huge on me. She kept on looking at me with a smile on her face. "Take a picture it will last longer." "W-what?" "I said take a picture it will last longer." "Ok, if you insist," she said. "Smile." I smiled and she took the picture. "Lets get going. We have a movie night awaiting us," I said. "Off to your house we go." I couldn't help but laugh at her. We got in the car and started to drive. 

Here you go the tenth chapter. I still don't know how over 100 HUNDRED people have read this. Why are yall wasting your time reading a book I made. Anyways I hope you liked this chapter I know it was a lil short. Have a good day tomorrow and go to bed at a decent hour please. See yalls
