20. Realization

Lana's Pov:

I walked over to Olivia after Madison and Delaney walked out. "Are you ok?" I asked a little concerned 'cause Ben got really close. "Yeah. I'm fine, but I think I should be asking you the same question too." "He didn't get as close to me as he was to you." "I assure you I'm fine." Kai walked in and looked at both me and Olivia really confused. "Yo. Why does Ben look like he got run over a tank?" Mia said as she sat on the counter. "Well do you want the shortened version of the story or the long version?" I asked. "I ain't got anywhere to be." "Ok then. Me, Liv, and Delnaey we're all talking and having a good time when Ben started rubbing up on Liv.  Liv being the bad bitch she is pushed him off but this dumbass had the grand idea of going on to the next girl which was me. I pushed him off just like Liv did. And what did Mr. Smarty pants do? Exactly he went on to the next girl he could see which was Delaney and then the Madison girl." "The smart one?" Kai asked. "Yeah the smart one. She noticed that he was rubbing up on Delaney and pushed him off her and he got real mad and started asking her who she was and then she said that she was Delaney's girlfriend so the guy would back off. But no. What did this guy do? As expected he kept on rubbing up on Delaney and whispered something in her ear, but I couldn't really hear what he said. Although whatever he said made Delaney start to cry so Madison pushed him to the ground and told him to leave us all alone. This guy calls us all bitches and I'm gonna guess Madison had had enough of him and pushed him to the ground yet again and just started beating him into a bloody pulp. She had a reason for every punch. The guy is a dick so he deserved it." "Damn did not know Madison could do that," Mia said impressed. "Which reminds me I need to go find Matt and James." 

'Where could they possibly be,' I thought to myself. I pushed my way through a huge crowd of drunk teens. I stood on top of a chair to see if I could get a better view. The only thing I got was a bunch of screams and claps from people thinking I was about to do something reckless and stupid. Standing on top of the chair was no use. I thought about yelling their names but that wouldn't help because there was no possible way I could yell over all the music and yelling. I walked into the living room on the verge of giving up. I looked around a little bit and saw them. I walked over to them. "Hey guys," I said with a smile. "Hey Lana," Matt said with a hug. "Madison just wanted me to tell you guys that she left. Me and my friends including Delaney got rubbed up on by Ben and Madison beat the shit out of him." "Go Mads and also that guy deserved it he is a literal sex offender," James said. "James is right. Ben deserves everything bad that comes his way." 

Me and Matt and James have been talking for awhile. Although I couldn't stop thinking about the way Madison protected Delaney and the way Delaney ran into Madison's arms. The last time I checked Delaney was quite literally Madison's bully. I always thought Delaney liked Madison because why else would she bully Madison. "YO. Lana you good?" Matt yelled. "Yeah I'm fine just got lost in thought." "What are you thinking about?" James asked. "Madison and Delaney," I replied. "What about them?" they both simultaneously said. "They seem a little bit more than friends and I didn't even know they were friends." "Well I do know one thing but I'd be a horrible best friend if I said anything," James said. "Well if you can't say why don't you text it," I said. "It's gonna come out eventually so why not. I know that Madison likes Delaney and has for a while." "Great now we just need to get Delaney to like Madison which I don't think will be hard," I said. "You know what I'll make a group chat between your friends and us so we can talk about it more there," Matt said. I gave Matt everyone's numbers except Madison's and Delaney's. 

I volunteered to drive Kai and Olivia home because I was the only sober one. I mean they weren't drunk but they weren't sober. They were a little bit on the tipsy side. I told them about the group chat and plan and understood most of the words I said. I pulled into Liv's drive way and she said both me and Kai could stay the night. Kai and I agreed to it because we were both tired. Just as we were about to go to sleep we all got a notification on our phones. It was from the group chat.

We all looked at each other than quickly back at our phones to go to Instagram. I opened up Instagram and saw the post right away. It was a video of Madison beating Ben's ass. "Madison's got a good punch," Mia said. There was sound on the video so you could hear Madison yelling every reason for each punch. The video stopped and we all looked at each other then went to the group chat.

Julia: Whoever filmed that video deserves an award

Mia: I don't think I've ever seen a video of a fight that actually got the whole fight

                             Me: I understand why Delaney wants to be friends with Madison

After talking in the group chat for a while about the fight we all said goodnight and went to bed.
