Delaney's POV:

'Well shit,' Delaney thought to herself.

We walk up to the front of the classroom. Mr. J. puts our project on the screen behind us. We already decided who was gonna present each slide.

~time skip to after project~

Everyone clapped at us and Madison and I walked back to our seats. Mr. J. calls up the next group, but I just couldn't stop looking at Mads. She payed no attention to me, she had her head on her arms.

'I just want to know what I did wrong?' I thought to myself.

Mads <3

Me: Hi?

Madison's POV:

I look down at my phone and see a notification from Delaney. I look over at her and she smiles. I put my phone in my pocket, not bothering to look at it.

~another time skip to lunch~

Delaney's POV:

I really hope she's in the mood to talk now. I put my backpack on the ground by feet pulling my phone out. I put my head on the table, she still hasn't responded.

Lana takes her seat next to me. "Why the sad face?"

"Did your girlfriend not show up?" Kai chimes in.

"Brooooo. She's not my girlfriend, and yes she did show up but she's ignoring me," I say.

"It sounds like someone's mad-" Olivia says, quickly getting an elbow to her stomach from Lana.

"Delaney," a fimiliar - yet non familiar - voice says.

I turn around to see non-other than Elijah standing there. Just who I didn't want to see right now.

"Ohh. Hey." I say, in a little to fake of an excited voice.

"Sorry if interrupted something. I just wanted to give this to you. I remember you talking about MSU at the water tower and I just got back from a tour there," he says, handing me a keychain that said Michigan State University on it.

"Thank you. You didn't have to do that."

"Don't worry about it. It just made me think of you."

Sup Bitches!! So this book. The one that you're reading right now has hit 13.4K reads. That's a whole lot of reads. I really never thought of this book getting popular  -  like ever. I went from 1K to 10K in like 3 months. LIKE WHAT THE FUCK.  So I want to say the biggest thank you possible. You guys are the only ones keeping this book alive. I do have big plans for this book, even though it will probably be the longest slow burn book you have ever read but that's okay. If you have any ideas for this our my one-shot book please tell me them. ANYWAYS, love you all. Stream Midnights by Taylor Swift if you haven't.
