17. Saturday Morning

Delaney's Pov:

I woke up early, like really early. I looked at the time and saw it was 5:30. I don't know why I woke up early cause I never do but I thought it was a good chance for something. I looked up to see the person I was sleeping on top of. Obviously it was Madison. 'She looks so beautiful and peaceful when she's sleeping,' I thought to myself. I got up and went to my bedroom and grabbed two hoodies, one of which was Madison's that she gave to me a little bit ago. I put on the hoodie that Madison gave me and smelled her scent that was still on the hoodie. I brought the other one to the basement. I attempted to wake Madison up but me nudging her did not work. I resorted to the only other thing I knew. I threw a pillow at her head, which in my favor worked. "What you do that for?" 'Her morning voice is so hot wtf,' I thought to myself. "Well you wouldn't wake up when I nudged you, so I threw a pillow at you," I said with a cheery smile. She grabbed her phone and looked at the time. "Why the fuck are you waking me up at 5 in the morning?" "Well maybe if you got up you would know. Also put on this hoodie its cold outside." I threw the hoodie at her and she caught it and put it on. She got up and we went up stairs. "May I ask where we are going at 5 in the morning?" "Its a surprise," I said I as I grabbed my keys.

We were driving in the car and I heard soft little snores. I looked over beside me and saw Madison passed out in the passenger seat. I couldn't help but smile. I kept on driving we were almost at our destination. I parked and put on some music. I woke Madison up and told her to get out of the car and go to the trunk. I opened the trunk and we both sat down facing the beautiful sight in front of us. I mean it isn't has beautiful as Madison but it's still beautiful. "It looks so beautiful," Madison said as she looked at the sunrise. 'Not as beautiful as you,' I thought to myself.

Madison's Pov:

I've never felt so happy in my life. I was sitting with my crush and watching a sunrise at a mountain I first showed her. Delaney leaned her head on my shoulder and sighed a happy sigh. I loved when she laid her head on my shoulder. I mean the sunrise was pretty but Delaney was prettier. I looked down at her and saw a smile on her face. She looked up at me and smiled even bigger, which made me smile more. I just stared into her beautiful blue or green eyes. I then looked down at her lips. I wanted to kiss her so bad, but I knew she doesn't feel the same way about me so I just turned to look at the sky. I'm just a friend to her. She has literally ever guy and girl drooling over her but she always turns them away. I mean what makes me different from them. What would make her want me more than some football jock, besides the fact that I'm not a dickhead.

I got so lost in my thoughts like usual. This mountain is the one place I go to just let myself think. I looked down at Delaney and saw that she was sleeping on my shoulder. I smiled to myself. 'She's so beautiful when she is sleeping,' I thought to myself. I got out of the trunk and picked Delaney up bridal style and put her in the passenger seat. I walked around to the driver's seat and sat down. I turned the music down so she wouldn't wake up.

I started to drive home and but then I saw a dunkin. I went through the drive thru and ordered myself a coffee. I went to the window to pay and get my coffee and the old woman that was working smiled at me. "You and your girlfriend look cute together," she said. "Oh thank you, but we're not dating," I said with smile. "Something about you tells me you wish you were." "Very much but I don't think she feels the same way." "You never know," the lady said with a smile. I grabbed my card out of my wallet and was about to give it to her when she said, "It's on me don't worry about it." "Thank you ma'am," I said very gratefully. She handed me my coffee and said, "I hope it works out with her." "Me too. Have a good day and thank you again." "It's honestly not a problem." I pulled away and smiled. I went to a gas station that was close and quickly grabbed Delaney a red bull because I knew she didn't like coffee that much.

After a little bit of driving we got to Delaney's house. I got out of the car and opened the door to the passenger seat to grab Delaney. I picked her up bridal style and managed to hold my coffee and Delaney's red bull along with Delaney herself. I opened the door and went straight up to Delaney's bedroom to lay her down. I set her down on the bed and put the red bull and coffee down on the night stand. I pulled a blanket over Delaney. I was just about to walk away when Delaney pulled me down and moved over so there was room for both me and her on the bed. I laid down next to her and she snuggled up next to me. We both quickly fell back asleep.
