12. Movie Night

A/N - I'm giving yall a happy chapter because the last one was a lil sad

Delaney's Pov:

Once Madison was upstairs and out of sight I looked at my mom and bothers. I already knew what was gonna come my way. Surprisingly they didn't say anything. My mom gave me a smile and wink. My brother, Jamie just walked passed me. I went over to the counter where the 50 dollars was. "Here you win," I said giving Michael the 50 dollars. "Wow didn't know I would win that fast. Also hurry up she is probably waiting for you." 

I went upstairs and opened my door but I didn't see Madison. Then I felt arms wrap around my waist and pick me up. "I swear Madison if you don't put me down right know," I said hopefully stern enough that she would put me down. I was not hopeful enough. "Sorry Ber, no can do." She threw me on my bed. "Finally," I said sitting up right. Madison grabbed the snacks from off the ground and sat next to me. "What shall we be watching first?" Madison asked. "Wanna watch a scary movie?" I asked with a grin on my face. "Sure, but only if you promise to not get scared." "Yeaaah I can't make that promise." "Fine but we are watching a funny movie after so you don't have nightmares." "Yes ma'am," I said. 

See what Madison didn't notice was that I tricked her into something. You might be thinking it was something bad but I think it will benefit both of us in the end. If we were to watch a scary movie and I got scared I would have to cuddle up to her for safety. I know it's a great plan know lets see if it works.

15 minutes into the movie and I have already hid under the covers. Madison looked at me and laughed. "What are you laughing at?" "Nothing," she said trying not to laugh anymore. After a few minutes there was another jump scare and I got close to Madison. I laid my head on her shoulder and after a few minutes she put her head on top of mine. At one point I screamed because there was another jump scare. I think me screaming scared her more than the actual jump scare. She put her arm around my shoulders and I leaned my head on her chest. 'MY PLAN IS WORKING,' I thought to myself as Madison scratched my back. Once the movie was done it was around 11 pm and I was pretty tired but I had to fully succeed in my plan. "What movie know Ber?" "You can choose bubs," I said. I smiled to myself I liked the nickname I gave Madison. 

After a while I started to drift off to sleep still on Madison's chest. She started playing with my hair and that calmed me down even more. "Goodnight Ber. Have a good sleep. I hope you had a good day today." Once I heard Madison say those things I felt my heart melt. I didn't want to say anything to scare her. 

Madison's Pov:

I noticed that Delaney was starting to drift off to sleep. "Goodnight Ber. Have a good sleep. I hope you had a good day today." I looked down at Delaney and she is so beautiful. 'Everything about her is perfect,' I thought to myself. I laid down trying not to wake Delaney. She adjusted herself so her one arm was across my stomach and one of  her legs across mine. I couldn't help but admire her. I never thought I would be in this position. My crush and sorta bully of 9 years is cuddling with me. It's like a dream come true. You know what I probably have actually dreamed about this. I finally fell asleep with the girl of my dreams, quite literally, cuddling with me.
