The next two months flew bye, honestly it had been a whirlwind. From the day I set foot in Tony's lab, he and Bruce had carried out tests on me and suddenly it was all guns blazing. My combat training was upped to twice a day so not only was I training with Nat in the morning but Steve too in the afternoons, not that I was complaining about getting hot and sweaty fighting with Capsicle. He is easy on the eyes!
I'm a woman. I have hormones. It's been a while people ok?!
Tony had an old friend he wanted to contact in regards to my magic I had told them Frigga informed me I possessed. In the meantime Loki and I had been secretly studying at night when Thor had went to bed, I sneaked into his room, or he appeared in mine when we heard the rhythmical snores coming from his room. God of Thunder? God of Snoring more like it!
The books Frigga had sent from Asgard when I visited were to help us understand what I was working with and how I could control it.
Clearly she knew I would reach out to Loki, as he turned the pages of a book one night a letter fell out of it into his lap. He eyed it cautiously, before opening it and delving into its contents. Frigga had provided him a spell to help release my powers when the time come to start training, the rest he kept quiet.
However there's only so much magic someone can do in the confides of a bedroom without blowing half the house up!
Today however. I was going to plead my case to Tony about letting Loki help me instead, after all I was part Asgardian...so who better to train me?
I had sat up the night before giving myself a pep talk, maybe more of a lecture actually. Trying to concince myself Tony would let him help. Who was I kidding really? He didn't trust him one bit, despite having been on his best behaviour so far.
Today I had opted for my black leather biker style jeggings, a black lace bodysuit; (the girls looked great in them) a little distraction wouldn't hurt when pleading my case. Right?
I threw on a red blazer over the top and my black heeled ankle boots. I grabbed my bag with my training clothes, fixing my lipstick in the mirror and giving myself a once over before heading downstairs.
As I entered the kitchen Thor looked me up and down twice, lingering a little too long on my chest the second time.
Good. It works.
Loki had his back to me making himself some tea, and I was surprised to see breakfast was already on the table. I eyed Thor suspiciously who shrugged his shoulders pulling a face at me and pointing to Loki.
"Good morning," he called to me without turning away from making his tea.
"Morning guys this is, ah, a nice surprise normally I'm the one doing the cooking," I grabbed a cup from the bench beside him, poured some coffee and went over to the table and sat down and looked around me. Oh this was definitely magic. There's no way he cooked this himself...right?
"Well, I figured you have an exciting day ahead of you, it was our turn to look after you this morning," his voice was close to my ear as I turned my head, he was reaching over my shoulder to lift a slice of toast off the table winking at me as he pulled back and brought it to his mouth.
Fuck I wanna be that slice of toast so bad right now.
His eyebrow lifted as he looked at me. Fuck. He heard that.
Note to self. Learn how to keep the dirty thoughts out of your head around the God who can hear you, please.
My face went as red as my blazer and yet I couldn't tear my face away until...
