*This chapter is from Loki's point of view*

I reached out to her as soon as we were back on Midgard, I wanted her to know I was here now. I was so excited to see her. To show her what I had got for her. It had taken me so long but I needed to know she would be safe if something ever happened to her and there was only one place I could find it, but it meant visiting a scorned lover. Thankfully not one of mine.

I hadn't seen Eir in possibly 550 years. Eir was the Goddess of Healing and Medicine, using a special blend of a flower that she used to heal those in desperate need of it. It was called the Eirflower.

I only hoped she would forgive me for intruding but I had to bring Y/N this back, being with me could be dangerous for her so I needed reassurance she would always be protected.

As I approached her healing refuge high up in the treacherous part of the Asgardian mountains, I felt my magic being rendered useless.

She had wards up around the whole area, disguising her whereabouts. She floated towards me, her copper hair gleaming in the sunlight, "Loki? Is that really you? The Prince of Asgard. Here in the flesh, my, my."

She hugged me tightly. Eir and Thor had been together many, many years ago. When he was younger my pig headed Brother had always been head strong, ending up wounded after nearly every battle. His visits to Eir became a regular occurrence and a bit of a relationship had blossomed between the two. She was very beautiful, a Goddess after all and she had eventually fell in love with Thor.

However after admitting her feelings to him, he unfortunately broke her heart. He did not love her in that way, he enjoyed the intimacy and time they had shared together, but it was not love, thus she retreated to the mountains. Away from the Palace and the constant reminder of a love she could never have.

She stayed in contact with the healers of the Palace, providing potions when needed, but kept her distance still to this day.

"Eir. I'm sorry to intrude like this. It's been so long and yet you still look as beautiful as I remember," I smiled at her, buttering her up.

"Oh Loki please!" She rolled her eyes, seeing straight through my facade. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your presence here?" She questioned me, pushing a strand of hair away from her face. "Has that Brother of yours finally come to his senses?" Her eyes sparkled and I almost felt bad for what I had to say.

I took a step back from her, "Eir. That is not why I am here. You know that. I have much more important reasons than my Oaf of a Brother." I scowled at her.

Her eyes studied my face before realisation washed over her pale complexion. "Oh Loki!" She breathed, her hazel eyes glittered as she took a step closer to me again, before trying to kiss me. I pushed her back abruptly.

"Eir! What do you think you are doing?!" I growled in annoyance, holding her at arms length away from me.

"Oh Loki you are the one in love with me! Not your Brother?" She was desperate to cling on to some hope of seeing him again it seemed.

I snorted in absolute disapproval, "I may be in love, but definitely not with you Eir." I was harsh, but I was not about to lie to get what I came here for.

"Please! Loki? The God of Mischief tied down? Hmph." Her tone almost mocking me. "Tell me about her then."

"Her name is Y/N, and she is in fact a descendant of the great Celestials who could control the Elements. She is rather extraordinary, oh you should see her Eir..." With that I found myself continuing to ramble on about her. How she had helped me when Thor rescued me from Odin's torture. How she lit up when we where around the horses together. How beautiful she was without even realising it. How my heart almost stopped the night I kissed her on her birthday...I quickly shut up as I realised just how much I had been babbling at this point.
