As the doors of the elevator opened the cold night air hit me, the wind whipped at my loose hair but the alcohol in my body kept me warm. I was shivering but not because of the cold.

What had I done?

Why had I snapped like that?

I walked over to the little bench Tony had put up here, I wasn't entirely sure why, but hey, I was thankful for it right about now.

As I sat down I sighed, looking out over the city, it was glowing and cars buzzed about in the busy streets. I closed my eyes briefly for a second, taking a drink from the bottle I swiped from the bar. It wasn't nice but I swallowed it down, hard.

Placing the bottle beside me I buried my head in my hands, I felt a few tears escaping my eyes and there was nothing I could do to stop them.

"Why are you being so stupid Y/N. You...he...my god. What am I doing? I'm going to push him away. I'm meant to be helping him." I moaned to myself.

As more tears fell from my eyes my emotions got the best of me as they were all over the show. A single tear fell into my palm and slipped down my wrist, the burning sensation this time wasn't the alcohol.

I looked at my arm wincing in pain.

The mark. My skin was inflamed and starting to turn a shade of crimson. I still couldn't make out what it was, but it was becoming more pronounced.

I took another drink from the bottle hoping it would numb the pain a little, instead it made it worse as I grabbed my wrist the bottle fell from my hand smashing at my feet.

"Little One!!!" Thor was beside me in seconds, "What is it? What's wrong?" He cupped my face in his rough hands carefully wiping tears away.

"It hurts Thor! I can't make it stop!" I looked at my wrist I was still gripping onto. The tears fell faster as the pain was increasingly getting worse, guilt washing over me at the same time.

"Let me see Little One..." Thor gently took my arm, turning it over to inspect my wrist.

"Why? Why did I do that down there? What was in that alcohol Thor? That isn't me."

"Little One calm down. You need to come with me now. I will take you to see Banner." He was worried by the look on his face.

"NO!" I ripped my arm away from him as the sobs were catching in my throat now.

Through blurry eyes I spied him, hurrying swiftly across the roof towards me. Worry written all over his pale complexion, his dark hair being whipped by the cold wind.

"It's been like this since Asgard! Your...your mum...she....she said I'm destined for one of you." I blurted out.

The two brothers stopped in their tracks.
My chest was tightening and I couldn't breathe.

"I'm sorry. I should just go." I stammered, biting my lip as another pain shot up my arm suddenly. I squeezed my eyes closed trying to concentrate on my breathing as I stood up.

That's when I felt his cool hand slide across my wrist. I seen a green glow from it and the pain started to gradually subside.

"Brother?!" Thor growled looking at Loki's hand, "How are you using your magic?"

"I....it was me. I took it off him. Months ago. I needed his help...don't be angry with him." My breathing was returning to normal and I felt a wave of clam wash over me. "It's my fault. Not Loki's."

"Are you crazy!" Thor was shouting at me now, "He could have vanished into another realm! He could have went back to Asgard! What would you have done then Y/N? Hmm? If Odin got a hold of him again? You stupid, stupid girl!!!"
