A/N: This one might not make much sense to you guys, but it makes sense to me. So I won't explain it because poetry is meant to be interpreted differently by everyone! :)
Everyone tells me to be grateful,
I try I really do.
But I can't help but think it would be easier to be you.
And everyone tells me to let my personality shine through,
I try I swear
But it's hard when I know I'll never be as good as you.
Everyone tells me to be just and fair,
And I am most of the time,
But its upsetting when all rules apply except not to you.
Everyone tells be to be fine,
I want to be too.
But it's sad when you're always telling me how awful I am compared to you.
And everyone tells my anger to subdue,
And I'm doing my best,
But it's frustrating because people don't know you.
Because you're always in the back of my mind.
Always and you never leave.
I could move away a thousand miles,
But you're still right there next to me.
And sometimes you really suck, and when you do I do too.
But when I think I am pretty, so do you.
