They Say

If you have depression,
Don't listen to what they say,
It's not as easy as thinking positive thoughts,
To make the sadness go away.

For all those with anxiety,
They say just to relax,
But here's the problem with society,
They don't know the facts.

And for those debating suicide,
Don't worry it's not selfish,
I'm not encouraging it though,
But there is a lot of things more hellish.

For everyone who's tired,
They say to get more rest,
It's not lack of sleeping,
That gives fatigue in your chest.

Everyone has their own problems,
We all go through crap,
But until you know their whole life story,
Don't judge them just like that.

We've all judged someone by looks one or twice,
Don't even try and deny,
But always try to be nice,
And hug them while they cry.

So be the person you wish you had
There are exceptions to no one.
Even if they are too sad or get easily mad,
At least they have someone.
