Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But words will never hurt me,
Is the biggest lie people tell,
For words hurt like hell.
Remember what hurts you,
Will hurt others too,
And do your best,
To keep the hurtful words at rest.
It's easier to give than get pain,
Anyone who gives it is a fool,
For why make people suffer,
All it is, is cruel.
Please don't be the cause,
For someone's sorrow,
For words will not heal,
And you will regret it tomorrow.
Smile with kindness,
And try your best to be nice,
For their happiness,
Even if it's not yours,
Is worth the sacrifice.
