You look in the mirror,
And you start to frown,
For you don't like what you see,
And can't help but put yourself down.Your nose is too big,
But nothing a doctor can't change,
And now you're happy,
For your face looks a little less strange. Then the next morning you see pimples,
And to make it go away,
You take Accutane,
And your skin is now okay. You notice some fat,
So much it's easy to grope,
You starve for a few weeks,
Are you fat now? Nope.Your teeth look a little yellow,
So you get white strips,
Now your teeth are so bright,
Across your lips. This kind of thing never stops,
No matter how much you try,
For it is inevitable,
Though I have no idea why.You will never reach perfection,
And it's rough,
Because no matter what you do,
To yourself you will never be enough. But there will be someone out there,
Who won't judge you by these things.
Who won't care about your weight,
Your big nose,
Or what you ate.
They will think you're beautiful,
Without a second guess,
Even when your hair is a complete utter mess,
And so my darlings,
Don't settle for anyone less.
