I'm not asking for a lot,
Not a great bunch,
Not even for someone to sit with me at lunch.
Not to be at peace with my mom,
Or to finally be at calm.
Not for boys to ask me out,
Or not have a single doubt.
Not to be great at school,
And finally be cool.
Not to have a perfect life,
But just for today,
