All The Same

Smooth hair,
Thigh gap,
Small nose,
Big chest.

All the same,
None the different.
And all those who are,
Find it hard to fit in.

In the end of the day isn't that what we all want?
To be accepted?
But instead of accepted we are tolerated.
Just using one another to climb higher on the social ladder.
Once they are there they will leave you behind.
In hopes of achieving the popular life.

But would you do the same?
After you're in the cool crowd,
Would you drop the ones that helped you through the pain?
Do you wear nice clothes and watch your diet in hopes of getting out of the quiet?
Or do you speak your mind and stay kind?
Your choice, your life, not mine.
