Regret is a feeling that comes into play,
When we do what we now,
Instead of what we want in future days.
That's why it's hard to decipher,
What we should do,
Because you don't always know,
What's best for you.
What's best for you now,
May not be the best later,
So you don't know how,
To see which decision is a traitor.
The reason it's so bad,
Is cuz you don't have a clue,
How to fix,
What you can't undo.
Let It go,
That's what they say,
But how do let go of a mistake,
That you're reminded of everyday?
I would tell you to be more wise,
But it's hard when you can't see the future in your eyes.
So here's the deal,
Get it straight,
Not every decision you make,
Is going to be great.
So try and make the right decision,
Hope and pray,
But even if you don't,
You'll be okay.
