Twenty Years From Now

I wonder where I'll be twenty years from now.

Will I still be lonely,
Or in a deep love,
And end up living a life,
That I will be proud of?

Will I be happy,
My smile filled with true glee,
And go to sleep each night,
With someone beside me?

Will I have a job,
That inspires me to wake up,
Be friends with my coworkers,
And drink coffee from a styrofoam cup?

Will I have a house,
Not a house but a home,
One full of love
And I will never feel alone?

Those are good goals
For which I will strive,
But for now my main goal,
Is to just stay alive.
