Next day. At the beach. Night.

The sun was starting to go down and everyone was having fun. Yes, i was still carrying the ring in between my legs. It was hard keeping it inside but it was also extremely hot. 

Nick had spent the whole day with Shay.

Mhm, I don't like that at all but hey, nobody cares right.

I saw Nick talking to Shay by the fire we had started.

This guy will be the death of me.

I walked over to Seth who was sitting on a towel in the sand.

He raised an eyebrow at me and took a sip of his beer.

I sat down next to him.

Seth "Eiza is in the water with Camilo"

I nodded "I know. I am here for you"

Seth looked at me, amused and confused "oh really?"

I nodded "Yes."

Seth shook his head "I didn't do anything"

I nodded "I know."

Seth turned around and looked around.

His eyes fell on Shay and Nick and he nodded "okay"

Then he turned back to me "you wanna talk about them"

Me "what do you know?"

Seth shrugged "what did my brother tell you?"

Me "that they are just friends"

Seth "I can hear that by the tone of your voice.. you ain't buying that, huh?"

I nodded "mhm"

Seth eyed me before sighing "okay, listen, Cat, deny it all you want but I can see that my brother means something to you."

I shook my head " Seth-"

Seth shot me a look "And because of that I can't tell you"

I nodded "you can"

Seth shook his head "you don't wanna know, Cat. "

I nodded.

Seth sighed "Cataleya-"

Me "Seth, please. "

Seth took a deep breath "They were in a relationship"

I nodded "I figured"

Seth "did he tell you the story of how he became the alpha?"

I nodded.

Seth "She was there for him. She helped him through everything."

I nodded "so it was serious?"

Seth "they were fifteen. At that age you don't know what love is but... now looking back at their relationship... they were in love. Like in love in love"

I nodded, hurt "why did they break up?"

Seth shrugged "I don't know"

I looked at him confused "what?"

Seth shook his head, shrugging "Nick never told us what happened. One day we woke up and she was gone so we just stopped talking about her and their relationship."

Me "for how long where they dating?"

Seth thought about "they met when they were around 11, - 5 years"
