A week later. Morning. Bedroom.

I yawned and rolled around In bed. I was alone.

What have I done?

I got out of bed and looked around "welcome to hell"

Outside.

I walked out and saw Gomez sitting there with a little boy eating breakfast.

Wait what?

I walked over to them "morning"

Gomez smiled "morning, my beautiful wife"

Ugg.

I smiled at the little boy "and who are you, handsome little boy?"

The boy smiled at me "Colby"

I smiled "nice to meet you Colby, I am Cataleya. But you can call me Cata"

He started to smile even brighter "you're pretty "

I smiled "thank you"

Then I looked at Gomez, confused.

Gomez "he's Shay's son"

My eyes widened.

Shay walked over to us, smiling "morning, Cata"

Me "morning"

She put her hands on Colby's shoulder "have you finished eating?"

Colby nodded.

Shay smiled "wanna go inside and play a little?"

Colby nodded like crazy, jumped up and ran.

Gomez called after him "no running!"

Colby just giggled.

Shay gave me a smile before walking inside.

I sat down at the table "Colby, huh?"

Gomez nodded "mhm, a good boy. Shay's a great mother"

I nodded "and who's the dad?"

Gomez eyed me "you smelled it"

Me "He's your son?"

Gomez nodded "Yes"

I thought about it before sighing "now it makes sense why Shay was willing to help you"

Gomez shook his head "nah, she didn't do it because of Colby"

Me "why haven't I heard of him?"

Gomez "Because no one knows he's my son except my pack and now you. It's safer for him this way"

I asked confused "why are you telling about him? What makes you so sure I won't hurt him"

Gomez took a sip of his coffee "I laid my cards open to show you you can trust me."

Me "and now you wanna see mine"

Gomez "I am not forcing you but i also have to admit that I wanna see them. We're married now, your problems are mine"

I leaned back in my chair and let out a deep breath.

Gomez "you hate me, I get it. I took everything from you and you'll never forgive me for that but we are married now and we are immortal. We don't have to love each other but we can trust each other"

I nodded.

Gomez nodded and stood up "eat something, can't have you drying out"

Then he left.
