I groaned and sat up.

There was a heartbeat coming from the other side of the door.

Me "whoever is out there better open the door now"

Then I walked to the stairs but i froze when I caught a scent.

I followed the scent to Nick's office.

Gomez and Nick were sitting there.

My jaw dropped "what in the hell?"

Gomez smiled "Cataleya, good morning"

Me "what are you doing here?"

Gomez "I came to pick up my wife"

Nick's eyes flashed red for a second.

Me "just like that? Without a fight?"

Nick "we were just talking about that"

Gomez "I have always loved a good fight"

Nick "Cataleya mentioned you have a thing for drama. Why don't we make this easy?"

Gomez " a fight, just between us alphas?"
