2 years later. Night. At Cataleya's room.

I walked out to the balcony and took a deep breath.

David had left for some meeting and Colby was out with Shay.

I froze when I felt this pull in my chest. A pull I haven't felt in a long time now.

Then I looked around, confused but there was nothing strange.

Suddenly I saw two glowing red eyes staring at me from the border of the woods.

My stomach dropped and I grabbed the railing.

They just stared at me.

I breathed out shocked.

The two eyes starred at me before walking away.

At the cliff.

I got out of my car and looked around.

No one was here but there was a heartbeat.

Me "how did you know where to find me?"

Suddenly I heard a voice from behind me "Seth "

I nodded but didn't dare to turn around "for how have you been watching me?"

Nick "a month now"

I turned to him and leaned against the car.

He still looked the same.

Me "you haven't changed at all"

Nick nodded "neither have you. Well, except that ring your finger"

I just looked at him.

Nick "jumping in bed with the enemy is one thing but marrying him...?"

Me "Would have not been necessary if you hadn't left. Which gives no right to judge"

Nick "you-"

I shook my head "it doesn't give you the right about having an opinion about it either"

Nick glared at me.

Me "What do you want?"

Nick "I wanted to see you"

I nodded "you did. I'm still breathing, you can leave."

Nick "Cataleya-"

Me "I am serious. California is not your territory, Nick, you have no right to be here uninvited"

Nick "you are here"

I nodded "Because It's my territory too"

Nick "I am surprised you are able to walk around "

I nodded "Yeah, well, Gomez accepted the deal I made him"

Nick raised an eyebrow "a deal?"

Me "Seth told you were to find me. Make him tell you what really went down the day after you left"

Nick "did you make him lose the claim on your blood? "

I shook my head "no. he offered to do it, I said no"

Nick froze "and you trust his word?"

Me "it's been five years since then and I am still alive and well. At least one man keeps his word"

Nick sighed "Cataleya"

Me "you left. 5 years ago you walked out on me and on your pack. You left, Nick. I did everything I could to keep the pack –"

Nick "even if it meant fucking the enemy?"

I slapped him.

Nick's eyes flashed red for a second.

Me "do not put this on me, you son of a bitch. You left – it was your fault that I even had to go that far. Everything that happened in those five years happened because you left"

Nick "and I lef-"

I shook my head "I don't wanna hear it. "

Nick sighed.

Me "you know when I needed to hear it? Before you left. You should've told me that you were leaving before you left. Now it's too late for that"

Nick "do you love him?"

I snarled at him "get the hell out of California, Nick."
