this is just me giving random song recs for no reason

loki:

"you don't like this song either?" i frowned as he paused the wallows' song, "quarterback," one of my favourites.

"forgive me, my darling. i'm just used to asgardian music, it's a bit more classical."

"classical?" i said, thinking of something. i almost laughed but i held it back. "yeah, i know what you mean. there is this one song that i like, i think it'll suit what you listened to back at home."

"go on," he smiled.

i hid my phone from his sight, turned the volume all the way up, then played "my neck, my back" by khia.

"what the- Y/N TURN IT OFF!"

tony:

getting tony hooked on new music is extremely hard, considering how he only listens to ac/dc, and on rare occassions, led zeppelin.

for months i've been showing him different songs from my favourite artists. he didn't even listen to tame impala for more than five seconds before saying, "the vibe is too happy."

eventually i gave up, facing the fact that we'd never share a similar music taste.

whilst he was still asleep, i decided to make him breakfast. i brewed some coffee and turned on my playlist of only arctic monkeys songs.

he wrapped his arms around me and i grinned. "morning," i said.

"goodmorning. um, quick question. what song is this?"

steve:

steve's playlist was full of music from the 40's. he did not like it when i played "wap" for him one day.

since then, he doesn't trust me to give him song recommendations.

bucky:

unlike steve, bucky was actually relatively up-to-date with the modern world. he knew of ariana grande, taylor swift, and surprisngly, olivia rodrigo. definitely caught him dancing to "good for you" the other day.

bucky didn't have a specific musi taste, as he liked almost everything i played for him.

"here, i found this artist, his name is wilbur boot i think. nevermind, it's actually soot." i played, "maybe i was boring" for him. (summoning dsmp fans rn!!!)

he gave his nod of approval, a cool, calm collected movement he normally did when he liked a song. later, though, i'd probably catch him dancing to it, using any object in the house as a microphone.

sam:

sam also likes most song recommendations that i give him. he moonwalks to literally everything after watching a youtuber tutorial on how to do it.

i walked into the kitchen, hearing "yellow" playing faintly in the background. "what do you think, y/n?" he asked me as the song from coldplay played in the background.

"this isn't the right song to moonwalk to, but i'm impressed."

"give me a song to moonwalk to then," he said as we surfed my playlist together. nothing really worked, but he continued all the same.

scott:

big ariana grande fan.

that is literally all.

natasha:

she loves blackpink. she loves how empowering the band is, and has been listening to their songs non-stop since i introduced her to them.

"babe, i wanna marry lisa," she whined.

"me too."
