my last story was so rushed i hate it lol. sorry.
just a disclamer im sure sebastians mother is lovely, its for story purposes only.

your p.o.v. ~
you curled your hair and put on your sweetest perfume. "you're not bathing in that thing." sebastian joked. "how do i look, do i look okay?" you said, ignoring his attempt on trying to lighten you up. "yes," he said, snaking his arms around your waist. "she'll love you." he placed a loving kiss on your cheek. "you look gorgeous, by the way."

the drive to sebastian's mums house gave you anxiety. you weren't even close to being there. she lived two hours away, and you still had an hour and 57 minutes to go. "are we almost there?" "we just left, y/n."

with your anxiety rising every minute, you eventually fell asleep. sebastian tapped you on your thigh, resting his hand on it whilst he said, "wake up, darling. we're here."

you panicked. you looked at the mirror, making sure your makeup was okay. it was. making sure your hair was okay. it wasn't so you took a small comb from his glove compartment and fixed it up a bit. you checked your mouth for any saliva from your sleep.

lastly, you grabbed your perfume from your purse and sprayed on one last bit. "done."

he walked out of the car and rushed to your side, opening the door for you when you were just about to. "thank you." you smiled. you walked hand-in-hand to his mother's front door.

he rung the bell. you heard it from outside for her house.

it was not the type of sound you'd like to hear whenever someone was at your front door.

"buna, draga. hello, dear." she said lovingly to her son. "salut mama." sebastian smiled, placing a kiss on her cheek. you absolutely adored that he was a momma's boy. (that's honestly the cutest shi ever.)

"hello, you must be y/n." she turned to you. "yes, hi. nice to meet you." you smiled. you were about to shake her hand, but she pulled you in for a hug. "oh, i've heard so many wonderful things about you!"

you nervously chuckled. "thank you."

"oh, please. come in."

you chatted with his mom for a while.

"tea?" "oh, sure. "i'll be right back." "oh, i can help." "no, no. fiu. son, come help me."

sebastian got up, smiling at me before he left. i leaned into the couch. this is going well, i thought.

sebastian's p.o.v.
"nu e madison. she's not madison." my mother said once we stepped foot in the kicthen. "mama, ce? what?" i questioned. "madison was better for you." "she cheated!" "she apologized, sebastian! y/n nu este potrivit pentru tine. she's not right for you!"

i looked at my mother in disbelief. "i didn't mean it like that fiul meu." i shook my head at her. how could she say such a thing, put aside my happiness like that. let alone, she wants me to date my cheater ex.

y/n's p.o.v.
i heard sebastian and his mum's conversation from the living room. i listened to the little things, not paying much attention. who's madison? maybe his cousin. maybe i'll meet her next! "y/n nu este potrivit pentru tine."

i felt a bit 'cool.' sebastian had taught me some romanian and all the words sounded fimilar. i tried to make out what they were saying, but before i could, his mother repeated exactly what she said in romanian, in english. "she's not right for you."

what? i thought i was doing okay. i thought she liked me. that must be where sebastian gets his acting skills from.

"hey." sebastian said walking normally out of the kitchen with two cups of tea. i didn't reply, mostly because i didn't really hear him. "y/n."

"it's rude to ignore people." his mother said out of nowhere. i cleared my throat. "oh, i'm sorry."
she nodded, unapprovingly. "anyhow, i've made tea!" she smiled. a smile i've seen all day. a smile that i'm just now realizing is fake and forced.

we drank our tea awkwardly in silence. neither of us not quite knowing what to say. sebastian tried to start up a conversation, but nothing really worked. it was much better when she pretended to like me, now it's quite obvious that she doesn't.

after we finished our tea, sebastian finally spoke out. "i think we should get going. y/n has work tomorrow."

she nodded. "goodbye, y/n. it was nice meeting you."

"you too." i went to go for a hug, but she shook my hand. i gave her an awkward smile. "goodbye, mrs. stan."

i walked to sebastian's car, breaking down once i got in. "woah, what's wrong y/n?" he said, worried. "no- nothing, just drive. please."

the ride back home was silent. you couldn't go to sleep, yet you were tired. "love, are you sure you're okay?" "yes."

1 week later
sebastian still doesn't know that you know about his mother. honestly, you've kind of forgotten. you don't think about it as much. you were cuddling with sebastian, and you fell asleep.

you were awoken by sebastian getting a phone call. you pretended to stau asleep.

"salut mama." he said, his voice hoarse. you couldn't hear what his mother was saying, but you listened to the muffled noises from the phone.

"she's asleep- i can't understand you. talk in english, please." he said.

he hummed after every muffled response. said yes after a few. seems like he's making a deal with the devil, you thought, almost chuckling at yourself, but soon remembering that you're supposed to be 'asleep.'

"i'll breakup with her today or tomorrow. i promise. yes, i've been talking to madison. she wants me back, mama."

what.
