The worst kind of pain isn't sudden, or sharp.
You won't bleed.
Sometimes you don't even realize it's there,
Knawing at you,
Building up inside of you,
Until you can't take one more second of it.
The worst kind of pain doesn't come from a punch,
Not a stab, or the swipe of a blade,
But you'll feel it all over.
Your body will ache.
Your heart will beat slow and unsteady
As you grasp for the relief that never comes.
The worst kind of pain is endless,
It never really dissapears.
It will deepen when you least expect it,
Happy one second, the next in tears,
Drowning in loneliness, nostalgia,
And forever searching for answers
That simply do not want to be found.
