Peace

To love and laugh, I can't describe

Sent from heaven, taunting bribe

Through thick and thin, this joy shines through

Despite mistakes and wrong we do

Like a compass, guides the way

Leads me towards a better day

Like a flashlight, always on

Even when in truth, you're gone

After all the endless time

A poem with such perfect rhyme

And when it fits there's such relief

I'm on the brink of new belief

Doubts have left my mind in clouds

Precious jems wrapped up in shrouds

Cloths to hide my awful flaws

With you here, there are no laws

Those moments when I feel alone

And to self harm I'm always prone

Until this day, when I find peace

Anger, sorrow, all have ceased
