John's P.O.V
Today's the day we select the new bandmate! I secretly hope Violet or Nora gets in because then all that work would be worth it!
In the auditorium, Ad, J, Lou, and I are sitting at a table helping everyone sign in.
I had two songs prepared that I want to hear the girls sing, there are about ten including Violet and Nora.
So the ladies know how to sing the songs I go up and preform them.

After showing everyone how the music for the songs work, auditions start.
"Most of the girls are okay, just not what we're looking for."
J whispers to me and I nod. Looking at the paper I call the next person.
"Nora! It's your turn!"
Nora walks on to the stage trying to ignore the looks of jealously because I called her so casually. Girls are too silly. I thought to myself.
["You do realise your soul is a girl."]
An annoying voice chimed in.
("You're the one who ghosted on me!")
["How does that have anything to do with-"]
("Shhhh! She's starting!")
I focus my gaze on the girl on the stage as she starts to sing.
🎶"I see your monsters, I see you pain~
Tell me your problems, I'll chase them away~
I'll be your lighthouse, I'll make it okay~
When I see your monsters, I'll stand there so brave, and chase them all away!~"🎶

We were all stunned by her preformace and clapped loudly.
"Last, but not least, Violet Collins!"
Violet made her way to the stage with a confident aura and almost imedeatly started singing.
🎶"Did I catch your attention you look like you lost your breath~ huh
When I circle the room you an owl you gonna twist your head~
Don't you come at me green with an attitude when my lips and my souls are red~
If I leave you behind you can look for the broken necks~ nah nah"🎶

After Violet finshed a wave of applause came. The band and I discussed who to select.
"We have decided!"
I announced.
"The new addition to Imagine Dragons will be..."
