ARC 2.10

Julie Florence's P.O.V

All my life I was surrounded by schemers. Smiling faces with evil schemes. Even though I was surrounded by evil I still thought that no one was completely evil.

This caused me to get teased and bullied. Besides my family, no one stood up for me, except for her.

Anna Cobb, a rich duke's daughter. She actually stood up for me. Perhaps that's when mind became foggy.

I used to hold on to...someone... Everything's blurry now, and my memories become harder and harder to remember.

Anna became my sun, and I was captivated by her. Soon, I fell in love with her. We kept our relationship a secret till we were eighteen.

The night our relationship was approved I was attacked and saved by an unknown man. My, his amethyst eyes were so... Beautiful.

He sings me a song and I fall asleep.

I wake up in my room and find a letter in my hand.

Dear Julie Florence,

As you already know, someone is after your life. I may know who, but it'll take sometime to get proof. For now, make sure you take the marriage proposal with the largest influence. I'll see you soon.

Later that day Anna and I accepted a marriage proposal from Duke Winter. Well technically I never accepted it, but I acknowledged the proposal because you can't get much higher then a duke.

Anna and I end up marrying Duke Winter, thankfully we didn't have to spend the night together.

My new 'husband' was very polite, he even let Anna and I sleep in the same room. Even though he was polite, it seemed like he wanted to keep a barrier between him and Anna and I.

On one of my midnight walks I end up hearing a familiar voice. It's the man who saved me!

We talk for a bit and he lets me take off his mask. I was really surprised to see that it was Duke Winter!

We end up meeting a few times so I could remember something I forgot. I was especially interested because I could find out why my memories are so foggy!

I also make him sing a song that I think he wrote.

I notice that Adam(he's the one who told me to call him that) and I were getting closer. Not, closer as in love, but closer as in friends. I would never betray Anna.

I also noticed that Anna has gotten closer with a lot of nobleman.

When end up having a huge fight to the point that I sleep on the couch! (A/N: Oof! Everyone knows couches are uncomfortable!)

When I wake up in the morning I can't help but feel like it's the calm before the storm.

Anna doesn't speak a word before slamming the door after walking out.

This uneasy feeling sweeps over me.

Are Anna and I falling out of love?
