System: Seduce The Villainess

Max's P.O.V

It has been two weeks since I started working at Tang Industries and I'd like to say that I've made some progress.

I'm fairly sure that my hard work had been noticed since now Xavier will glance at me once in a while.

I've also made some friends with people from other departments.

I haven't seen much of the villainess besides the occasional 'good morning'.

I'm currently on my way to 'the heart of song' restaurant, which is famous for the fact that any band can play there as long as they have a reservation.

I walk in and a staff member shows me backstage where my bandmates were waiting for me.

"What took you so long?"

Jane asks.

"Well some of us have a job."

I say saucely.

"Ouch!"

Billy pretends to fall over.

"For the record, we have a job."

Jade cuts in.

"Yeah! We work at a pizza place!"

Jane says, missing the glare Jade sent her way.

"Never mind, let's just set up."

It took about fifteen minutes of going back and forth before we FINALLY set up our instruments.

"Your on in five."

A staff member says. We get into our positions and the curtain opens.

"Hey everybody! We are Blue Star and this is our original song. Hope you like it."

I say, then the music starts.

We get a mountain of applause. The curtain closes and I high-five my bandmates.

"We did it! Our first shot of stardom!"

I say proudly.

We decide to get some ice-cream to celebrate.

"Yo! You think you're such bigshots! Why don't you join the battle of the bands to prove it!?"

Apparently a man followed us from the restaurant to challenge us. I look at him and recognise him.

"Maybe we will, Carl!"

I snark back. Throughout college Carl was always starting trouble for me.

"See you in three weeks then, bigshot!"

With that, he turns around and leaves.

How I can't wait to crush him.
