Max's P.O.V

It is now a week in a half before the heroine arrives at the company and I feel a bit unprepared.

After all, this girl will cause Selena to awaken her love for Xavier.

"CEO Tang wants to see you."

Selena says in a practically robotic voice.

"Thanks for informing me, secretary Lena."

I quickly avoid her attempt to whack me.

"We're at work."

She hisses through clenched teeth.

"You're still my friend."

I say with a shrug before walking out the door into the CEO's office.

Xavier is standing by the window, looking out in a regal matter. He notices me and walks towards the desk and hands me a piece of paper.

I am shocked at what I see.

"You want me to be your personal assistant?"

I ask, the astonishment clear in my voice.

"Pending a few questions."

Xavier says.

"I will answer whatever you need me to sir."

I say.

"Okay then, first question, are you in a relationship that will interfere with your work?"

He asks.

"I am currently single. I'm in a band, but we play at night."

I say as if reading from a textbook.

"You're in a band?"

Xavier looks at me dubiously.

"Yes sir."

I answer.

"Hmmm... Okay. Sign here."

I'm surprised.

That was all the questions?

I sign the contract and are excited for the promotion.

I'm down to a week before the heroine shows up and I feel a bit confident.

The past few days as Xavier's personal assistant were hard, but I felt like I gained his trust.

After all, now I know his schedule.

Six-thirty I meet him at his mansion to tell him about the changes overnight.

Seven we arrive at Tang Industries(In separate cars).

Then I am on call between seven am to six pm.

I also handle his schedule.

"Ceil?"

Xavier chimes into my thoughts.

"Yes sir?"

I imedeatly respond.

"What do girls like?"

Is he serious?!?!

"Well.... Each girl is different. For instance, some girls might like you showing your affection in gifts. Others might want to spend time with you. The real goal in a relationship is to understand each other."

I say with hopefully no sense of unease.

"Hmmmm... That will be all."

I walk out of the office and into the secretary common area.
