System: Seduce The Villainess

ARC 3.3

Max's P.O.V

I walk in and are instantly blinded by the huge windows that cover the walls.

As expected of a CEO.

"Hello, I am secretary Ceil. Nice to meet you."

I say once I recover my sight. I look around the room.

In front of me are a table and two couches that are in front of a huge glass desk.

Sitting in the desk, was none other than the male lead, sitting in all his glory while doing paperwork.

His midnight blue hair cover his faintly visible emerald eyes. He looked extremely handsome.

("His beauty could almost rival me. If I was a girl, I would definitely fall for his charms.")

["I don't know whether to call you a narrsariss, or remind you that you're a girl."]

"Secretary Spring! Come meet your new colleague!"

He says with out looking at me.

The black-haired villainess comes out of a door to my left, which I hadn't even noticed.

Even though black hair and brown eyes are common, it suits her perfectly.

I remember that I am currently at work so I steel my features.

"Hello, I am Max Ceil, your new colleague."

Selena gives me a polite nod before turning to Xavier.

"If that is all, I'd like to get back to work."

The male lead doesn't look up.

"First show him around, then get back to work."

Selena nods then motions me to follow her. She takes me through the door on the left before speaking.

"This is the secretary common room, your desk is on the left, mine is on the right. In the middle is a place to sit down and eat lunch, or you can go to the cafeteria on the second floor. Make sure you arrive fifteen minutes before work so you can check if you have any assignments. Assignments must be finshed and put into the box on the boss's desk by a certain time. The company provides a computer, printer, and other work tools, that will be either on or around your desk. You should have read all of this in the secretary book. Any questions?"

"No."

My head is still ringing from that long speech!

"I'll be at my desk then."

Selena then sat down at her desk. I plop down at my own desk and see that there is already three assignments.

It's going to be a long day.

It is finally lunch and I am on my way to the cafeteria. I stop in front of the door and switch my work glasses with my fun glasses.

The cafeteria is full of people. As soon as I walked in I noticed a few curious glances.

I look bought pasta from the cafe/restaurant place and sat at a table with some familiar faces.

After becoming Xavier's secretary, I needed to memorize the names and faces of important figures in the company.

"Hi, I'm secretary Ceil. You guys are manager Ali, Ze, and Chen from the financial department, right?"

I say to the group. On the left side of the picnic-like table were two ladies in their late twenties. Manager Ali had orange hair with brown eyes, and Ze had her black hair dyed purple at the edges the complimented her foggy green eyes.

On the right side of the table was a man in his thirties. Manager Chen had black hair with gray eyes.

"Uh yes, we are."

Manager Chen says awkwardly.

"That's good! I was wondering, who came up with the financial plan this year?"

I say enthusiastly.

"That was me."

Manager Ali says meekly.

"That's great there's so much I want to talk about!"

I say eagerly.

By the time lunch is over I have completely befriended the managers from the financial department.

Chen is the kind of guy who isn't very social, but is passionate about work.

Ali is shy, but she considered a young genius when it comes to finance.

Ze it turns out can be very blunt so most people avoid her. She is what you call a work machine.

I am very happy because I just found out that tonight is going to be an unofficial band meeting so I'll be able to meet my new bandmates!

As I leave the cafeteria and put my work glasses on, I can't shake the feeling of being watched.
