It has been one week since that awkward dinner. I would like to say everything is good, buuuuuut, let's just say that the clique meet ups have increased.
I think it's because by now Xavier SHOULD BE chasing after Lola, but instead giving me a hard time with Selena. So plot-sama is trying real hard to get the two leads together.
"Ceil, make sure that you and Secretary Spring finish your reports. They are due in the morning so you might need to stay late."
Xavier walks out of his office before I can reply.
He probably knew I would object! He probably knows I have band practice tonight!
Unfortunately, he is my boss so all I can do is text my bandmates that my boss needs me to stay in late.
Billy: Why?
Me: So I can do some reports.
Jane: Ouch! You know that working at a pizza place has less work.
Me: Not to mention, less money.
Jane: You wound me Max!
Jade: I'm going to wound you if you don't get back to work!!!
Billy: Oooooo looks like someone was caught texting!~
Jane: Just by happy you don't have a puffer fish for a twin sister.
Billy: I wouldn't want a twin who looks me. How would people tell I'm the most handsome?
Me: Ha! Narrsariss! No, narrsariss puffer fish! 🐡
Jane: LOL! 😆
Billy: Do you dare to laugh!?
Me: I dare!
Jane: I dare too! Oh... Shoot! GTG my sister is nagging at me. TTYL! 😘
