System: Seduce The Villainess

ARC 5.9

Carson's P.O.V

It's been about a week and there has been a bare minimum interaction level with anyone.

Rose would stop by, but then Jonathan would whisk her away. My classmates pretty much avoid me.

Another thing bugs me, I haven't seen Melissa at all! It's like she doesn't exist!

I decided to go see her so I get her a gift and stop her before she leaves school. I picked a secluded spot because I know Melissa doesn't like much attention.

"Here you are!"

I say while presenting my gift. What the gift was is a secret since it's all wrapped up, but I don't know if she'll open it.

("Why is it restricted?")

["How should I know?"]

Melissa blinks, then blinks again. She grabs the gift then smiles.

"Thank you."

She says sarcastically. She then dumps the gift in a nearby trash can. Next she proceeds to harshly slap me in the face.

Why can't people leave my face alone!?!

"What do you think you're doing? This is worthless! Do such a pointless thing again and I'll break up with you."

She turns away in a flourish. Tears appear in my eyes and 'my' emotions get the best of me.

"B-but, are we really a couple!? We bearly talk, you avoid me, we haven't even had our first kiss as a couple!"

I shout, trying to keep the tears at bay. Melissa strides straight up to me and smashes her lips on to mine. My eyes widen and I see her looking at me straight in my eyes with a cold look.

We stay like that before Melissa breaks the kiss. Wiping her mouth afterwards. She then leaves me for good as I stand there in a daze.

So that's a kiss from a crazy/cold lady. Wiping her mouth afterwards was a little overkill if you ask me though.

I shake my head and start to walk home.

I. Am. BORED!

It is eight o'clock and I have been laying and doing nothing the past couple of hours.

I decide that getting candy is the best thing to do. After all, there's a new shop a few blocks from my house that has delicious taffy.

I get my coat on(because I like my coat), I fix my glasses and head out the door.

The streets are a bit crowded so I decide to not use my bike.

I arrive at the shop and are greeted by a staff member.

"Welcome to Sweet Treat Candy Shop!"

The employee says cheerfully.

I order cotton candy, blue raspberry, lemonade, orange cream, and cherry taffy.

As I'm walking home I see Melissa walking across the street, deep in thought.

She was completely oblivious to the truck heading straight for her. I break into a run and charge towards her. Right before the truck could hit her I push her out of the way.

Not today truck-sama! This is my girlfriend we're talking about!

["Please! We both know that if your target dies before you can seduce them you fail your mission."]

("I totally forgot about that!")

["Sure you did."]

And then I fell unconscious.
