I practically flew down the hall as I walked behind Snape to the Great Hall. My heart pounded, taking my stand next to Snape, in between Alecto and Amycus as we stood where Dumbledore would stand at the beginning of term, telling us the rules of the year, announcing new professors. Now there stood us. The bad guy. The enemy. In front of us stood students on both sides, separated by house. Gryffindor and Hufflepuff on my left, and Ravenclaw and Slytherin on my right.

"Many of you are surely wondering why I summoned you at this hour," Snape spoke, his voice echoing off the walls. "It's come to my attention that earlier this evening Harry Potter was sighted in Hogsmede."

Murmurs broke out amongst students, my own forming in my brain. I hadn't heard he was sighted. Why hadn't he told me?

"Now," he spoke loudly, silencing the students, "should any one student or staff attempt to aid Mr. Potter, they will be punished in a matter consistent with the severity of their transgression. Furthermore, any person found to have knowledge of these events who fails to come forward will be treated as equally guilty."

No one spoke. No one dared to. No one even dared to look at us as we stood in front of them. Their eyes instead were fixated on the ground. Snape stepped off the landing at the front of the room, walking down the center aisle between the separated houses, not a single person moving their heads to look, only side-eye glances.

"If anyone here has any knowledge of Mr. Potter's movements this evening I invite them to step forward...now." He paused, hands in his robe pockets as he reached the junction where houses were separated. A crossroads of space between where the four different groups stood. The Brave, The Loyal, The Witty, and The Cunning.

There were footsteps, moving from a group of Gryffindors. Gasps filled the room as he emerged. As Harry emerged from the crowd.

"It seems, despite your exhaustive defensive strategies, we still have a bit of a security problem, Headmaster." The doors behind Harry opened, in walking the order. Hogwarts professors, Arthur, Molly, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Bill, Fleur, Fred, George, Angelina, Remus, and Tonks, all led by Kingsley were revealed, eyes immediately falling to Snape, Charlie no where to be seen amongst the crowd. "I'm afraid it's quite extensive." Harry's head turned to Snape curtly, their eyes falling in line together. "How dare you stand where he stood." Then his eyes fell to me. "I trusted you," he spoke, before looking away like it was too painful to even look at me. "Tell them how it happened that night. How you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you, and you killed him. Tell them!"

Snape drew his wand, and I wanted to jump forward and grab it, but McGonagall appeared, pushing Harry out of the way and drawing her own wand. Students fell to each side of the room, Alecto and Amycus pulling out their wands as I stood there watching. The order drew their's, taking a step forward. McGonagall threw the first spell, fire, towards Snape, who was doing nothing but blocking the spell in return. She threw curse after curse, Snape's wand deflecting them as she walked forward, himself stepping backward. The only curse that flew from his wand, before he pulled his cape around him and flew out the window of the Great Hall was one directed towards Alecto and Amycus, the two falling to the ground unconscious as I was thrown into a wall.

Students cheered, McGonagall lighting the torches with her wand before making her way towards me and pulling me off of the ground, taking my wand from my leg to show I was no longer a threat, myself grateful Kingsley had informed her of the plan. People applauded loudly, pumping fists in the air.

"Harry," Voldemort whispered, Harry falling down on the ground as McGonagall crouched down, her hand on his shoulder.

Then came the screaming. It started with one, whom Harry ran to quickly, before on the other side of the Great Hall another began to scream. Students clasped their hands over their ears, Voldemort's voice filling the room.
