Jung Hyuk reached home at 12 pm sharp for lunch, and as usual, he will help Jin Ah bathe baby Jae Wook. When he entered the nursery room, Jin Ah is playing with her son. Their baby boy is almost a month old, and he is such a jovial baby. He is always smiling and laughing whenever he hears his parents' voices talking to him. He might not be like normal babies, but he brings absolute joy to Jung Hyuk and Jin Ah.
"Oppa wasseo?" Jin Ah greeted her husband as she saw him entering the room.
Jung Hyuk walked to them and sat on the bed next to her, and played with his little boy too.
"Oppa, since Jae Wook is less fragile now, I think I am confident that I can bathe him. Can you teach me how to do it?"
"Arasso. I'll teach you afterwards. Let me play with him first," he played with him while giving him a gentle stretching to strengthen the muscles on his arms and legs.
Meanwhile, Jin Ah prepared the warm water for Jae Wook in the bathroom. Once done, he notified her husband, and Jung Hyuk began to undress his son and brought him inside the bathroom. Then, he passed Jae Wook to Jin Ah, and she held him in her arms.
"You can either hold him in your arms as I do, or you can use the baby bath support if you think you are afraid to hold him with one arm," he said, and Jin Ah chose to use the support. She put Jae Wook on the support and placed the support inside the baby bathtub filled with warm water.
Jung Hyuk then slowly showed her how to give the baby a bath, and she followed. They are standing next to each other, and sometimes they are having unexpected skinship when their hands are touching each other' by accident when bathing their son.
Jin Ah picked up Jae Wook from the support when he is done and hold him near her shoulders. Jung Hyuk got the towel to dry him up. When he is about to wrap Jae Wook, Jin Ah turned her face, and it becomes so close to Jung Hyuk's face that their nose almost hit. It is so close that they can hear each other's breathe. They are caught in the moment and staring at each other. They can feel that their hearts are beating fast as they feel the tension between them. Something really caught Jung Hyuk at that moment. His mind is telling him to kiss her. Just like how it is during the wedding in Jeonju. He got himself closer to his wife, and Jin Ah stays put. As their lips are only millimetres away, their son wailed. Both of them was snapped into reality.
Jin Ah turned her head immediately to avoid his gaze. She pursed her lips, blushing.
Jung Hyuk quickly got Jae Wook from Jin Ah, wrapped the baby with the dry towel, and brought him to the changing table.
The two awkwardly become silent, and the only sound that fills the room is Jae Wook's soft coo.

(Jung Hyuk POV)
If you tell me a year ago that I will have my own family today, I will laugh at you and call you crazy. But life is full of surprises and has its own plan. I still can't believe that I will become a husband and a father this year. Embracing fatherhood is the most incredible experience that ever happens in my life. The feeling of holding your child in your arms for the first time is unexplainable and the best feelings a man could have. He may not be biologically mine, but I love him the moment I heard his heartbeat and felt his first kick when he is still inside the womb. Whatever the situation is, Jae Wook is my baby. Jae Wook and Jin Ah are the best gifts I received this year. I am thankful that they came into my life and filled my lonely days. My baby and my wife.
Wife. According to the dictionary, it means the female spouse in a marital unit. Usually, a man marries his wife after being in a romantic relationship or at least after few dates. It is different for me. I married her to help her. I married her to give her baby a family so that he will not born without a father. I stepped in and replace the void the real father left.
