Jin Ah checked on the time on her handphone, it's 8 minutes to 11 pm. Then she opened the notification of Kakao Talk and read the last message sent by her husband. He told her he just wrapped up his work for the day and were about to leave the hospital. That is around 13 minutes ago.

'He should be home soon,' she thought to herself. It has been three days in a row that he came back late. There is a high-risk pregnancy patient of his who need to be admitted to the hospital and be monitored closely. The patient has an incompetent cervix that dilates prematurely that can cause miscarriage if it is not stopped. To halt the dilation to happen further, they need to keep her in the hospital and monitor her and the baby at least until 24 weeks when the baby can safely be born and has a high chance to survive. She is in 23 weeks now and hopefully, by next week, they can deliver the baby. Knowing how detailed and responsible doctor her husband is, Jin Ah is proud that he takes care of his patient so well.

She sat on her vanity and begin her night skincare routine to get ready for bed. As she is about to climb on her bed, she heard footsteps from outside the room. Her moves halted, and when she turned towards the door, the familiar figure emerged.

"You're home," she greeted her husband, and the man replied with a sweet smile. He walked towards the crib and checked on his son first. He caressed the top of the baby's head gently not to wake him up.

"How's your day with Jae Wookie?" he asked his wife after giving her a sweet forehead kiss.

We are doing okay. Ahjumma and I taught him to grab his favourite plush toy and he did it well. We have a fast learner here.

"Chincha?" he said with raised eyebrows and adoring his sleeping son. "I miss seeing him awake. These past few days, I only got to see him awake for a few minutes before going to the hospital," he took the chubby hand and kiss it.

"Do you want to eat or drink anything?" Jin Ah asked while getting a new towel from the cupboard for her husband and hand it to him.

Jung Hyuk just shook his head, "I'm good. Let me wash up first and join you on the bed later," he said before getting inside the bathroom.

Jin Ah browsed through the internet while waiting for her husband. Normally, she will wait for him on the bed and they will have their usual conversation before bed. They make it a point not to end the day without talking to each other. It's okay with a simple conversation like asking how each other's day going on.

She checked on Hyo Jin Instagram and she's proud that her best friend IG is now more domestic looking. She posted about her daily life instead of being full of celebrity gossips like she used to do. As a journalism major, Hyo Jin just can't help herself from not getting updated with gossips.

"What are you reading?" Jung Hyuk asked as he climbed on the bed next to his wife.

"Scrolling Hyo Jin SNS," she closed the app and put the phone away. "You must be tired. Wanna lie down here?" she patted on her thighs, signalling her husband.

Jung Hyuk nodded cheekily before putting his head on his wife's lap. Jin Ah brushes his still damped hair with her fingers and massaged his temple. Jung Hyuk feels the fatigue he faced for the whole day being lifted when his wife tends to him lovingly.

"Jagiya."

"Hmmmm," she answered him while caressing his face lovingly.

"Let's go somewhere for honeymoon. I really need a break," he looked at her with a soft gaze and tucking her hair behind her ear.
