Jung Hyuk and Jin Ah came home from their date after midnight. Luckily ahjumma is not asleep yet as she was waiting for them especially, Jin Ah, who had gone out since morning.
"Ahjumma, you are not asleep yet?" Jung Hyuk asked when he saw ahjumma just came down from upstairs.
"I just checked Jae Wook in the room. Do you know what time is it now?" ahjumma asked them in a stern tone.
They looked baffled, just like teenagers being caught sneaking inside the house at midnight. None of them able to answer ahjumma.
"Why don't you give me a call that you have found your wife? I was worried sick thinking where could she has been," ahjumma crossed her arms and staring at the two of them. They were intertwining their hands. She could tell something good had happened between them.
"Mihane ahjumma, my phone ran out of battery, so I am not able to call you and tell me where I am. Sorry to make you worry," Jin Ah apologized to ahjumma. She knew that she has made the old lady worried when she is not contactable.
"I should apologize too because I forgot to call you back and tell her that I have found you. I am sorry too, ahjumma," Jung Hyuk made a cute face while saying sorry, which makes ahjumma chuckled. He has the tendency of being cute when he is happy.
"Arasso. Arasso. Next time make sure you can be reached all the time. Now go and get rest. Your baby missed you as he cannot see you the whole day. Go and attend to him," she said before moving to her bedroom.
Both Jung Hyuk and Jin Ah politely greeted ahjumma good night before went upstairs to their bedroom. Once inside the room, Jin Ah picked her son from the baby cot and put it on the bed. She lay down next to her baby and shower him with kisses. She missed him a lot.
Jung Hyuk lay down on the other side of the bed and propped his head. He just watched the two important people next to him. The feeling of coming home to your family after a long day is priceless. Jung Hyuk took Jin Ah's hand and kissed it at the back of it, "Thank you for everything. Today indeed an important day for me."
"Don't mention it. You deserved it. I forgot to wish you just now. Happy Valentine's Day, Ri Jung Hyuk ssi."
"Same goes to you. Happy Valentine's Day, Yoon Jin Ah, ssi," he said as he ran his fingers through her hair.
Jung Hyuk turned towards the clock on the wall. It's almost 1 am, and he needs to work the next day. "Let me wash up first," he said and entered the bathroom not too long after.
Jin Ah kissed her baby and pats him gently not to wake him up. "Eomma is glad that I give your appa a chance to be love. I hope I am doing the right thing. It's for your sake too, adeul," she talked to her sleeping son. Being a mother taught her not to just think about herself. She needs to consider what is best for her child. To give Jae Wook a complete family, she needs to accept Jung Hyuk and try to love him so that her son can grow up in a good family institution.

Jung Hyuk was counting the hours of when his on-call shift will finish. He has been in the hospital for close to 40 hours. He supposed to have 36 hours on call, but he has an emergency that came at the last hour of his supposed to be shift, and he has no other choice but to attend to his patient. Because of that, he had to cancel his surprise plan for Jin Ah. He planned to take her out for dinner since tomorrow is her birthday. He wanted to be the first person to wish her and spent the first hour of her birthday. He had everything set, but he cancelled it because his patient needed him more because of his duty. All he had left to do now is the report for his patients and hand over notes to the doctors and nurses in charge for the next few days as he will be taking leave for the whole week from tomorrow. As he was busy in his clinic, he got a call from an unknown number.
